That's who I'd want from Texas. he doesn't inspire me at all.his k/9 is terrible and why would Texas deplete their current rotation anyway? He's improved his walk rate more than his K rate has declined, and the point of adding Garza would be to replace Perez in the rotation anyway. Perez fits the desire for an MLB ready starter with plenty of years of team control remaining, as he wouldn't hit FA until 2019. what's their rotation right now? they must have someone they'd rather replace than Martin, plus I just don't see Martin panning out as anything very good. He' depth, no doubt, but I'd rather have Jackson and Buckel, they look like they have much higher ceilings. Darvish-Holland-Wolf-Grimm-Perez right now, though Darvish is currently on the DL.
