Ignorant people should get called on it more. someday sports will be confined to its rightful place within the cells of an Excel spreadsheet until that day let us have some fun I wasn't aware endless bitching about every little thing despite being a run away from a .500 start was fun. People don't seem to get that game threads aren't only for overreacting negatively about the team's performance, but like I said two pages ago, Sponge doesn't get it. And here we are again.

    eh, giving up an out isn't cool Except in certain situations...like the ones he mentioned i still don't think bunting increases the odds of scoring a single run depends on a lot of things. i obviously wouldn't advocate doing it with good hitters. Is there a hitter on the Cubs that stands out as good above the rest?

    He's the closer. He's used when the Cubs get a lead. You'll see him in a couple weeks.

    Yeah, you're essentially sandbagging the chance for more than one run while increasing the chance for one run. Only advisable when one run will win it, which is pretty much the case right now.
