well trying to get my friends to join a fantasy baseball league has not been an easy task...I only have 8 spots filled out of a maximum 20 member league. So my math tells me that there are 12 spots that are still open. I'm extending an invitation to everyone on here and anyone that wants to join, please do so. Without Hughes, you are probably right. But with Hughes, I can see us playing as good as anyone. He makes such a difference. Defensively, offensively, etc. That we can both agree on. We learned this in the 2005 first-round playoff series. :( That we did. And as frustrating as this season has been, and it has been one of the most frustrating because of all the close losses, the future is very, very bright. With what's looing to be a top pick in the draft and some money to spend, I think next season the Bulls could jump into the top half of the East. I wish, though, they could just make hte playoffs this year, just for confidence if nothing else. i want a shot, just a shot, at shocking the NBA world and beating those scums from Detroit. That is why I want to make the playoffs.

I could be wrong, but I think they're eliminated already. no, I guess they aren't out of it..they have to beat ND on the road on Saturday though. I can't believe how good DePaul's offense looks tonight.

has to be over 10, probably closer to 15 games. Absolutely sick how we have blown so many games this year. and btw, I hate the Cavs a lot too..not on the level of the Knicks and Pistons, but they are up there. Mostly because of the bandwagon Cavs "fans" at my school. LeBron gets way too much star treatment too, another thing that definitely turns me off from the NBA. I also don't like how pretty much every one of their games is on network TV just because of LeBron. Hello, we made the playoffs last year and I can count the number of network games that we have had this year on one hand. Something is not right with that. Actually, we've had a fair few national games this year. More than I expected actually considering we still don't really have a "star", and the NBA's TV schedule pretty much revolves around LeBron, T-Mac, Kobe, Carmelo, the Pistons, Shaq/Wade, and AI. we've had I believe 4 TNT games and 1 ESPN game. Our first, and only, ABC game isn't until we play the Heat either later this month or early next month. I really thought we'd have more games on national TV seeing after last year, we were the only big market out of the "Big 3" to actually have a good team last year. That fact alone I thought should have gave us more TV games. Oh well..just one of my pet peeves about the Cavs.

That trade was suggested by Chad Ford, and I agree it's a trade the Bulls would have to make. Other suggested Garnett trades have the Bulls giving up a lot more, though. I'd also start Noch before Harrington by a wide margin. i'm talking about Al Harrington from the Hawks, not Othella..even though you may still want to start Noc over Al as well. Oh. Trading Deng and picks for Garnett would eat up the Bulls cap space. and for some reason, I entirely forgot about that. I'd still take Garnett though..start Noc then instead of Harrington. It still looks like a pretty good starting 5. like Mark said, hopefully the Knicks continue to suck so we can land Oden in 07 :D

i haven't really followed DePaul much this year but I know tonight's game is a must win for them. Can anyone tell me what it will take for them to reach the Big East tourny?

i still would trade both 06 picks and Deng if it netted Garnett. Sign Harrington in the offseason and you have a starting 5 that looks like this.. Hinrich Gordon Harrington Chandler Garnett that lineup could be very dominant in the league..couple in the fact you'll still have Nocioni, Songaila (hopefully), Pargo, Allen, throw in another bench signing and you have a very successful team next year. There would be no excuse for that team to not compete with Detroit and Miami next year. I like Deng a lot and I know he is going to develop in a very good player...but if a guy like Garnett is on the market and all you have to give up is one good player and 2 potential projects, then I do it.

Canada will not repeat as gold medal champs as they lose to Russia 2-0.

US loses to Russia 5-4...the final minute of the game was real exciting even though the outcome was pretty much meaningless. like ndi said, we play Finland tomorrow in the quarters.
