Bulls had a huge win tonight as they made the big plays when it mattered the most. now only 1 back of Philly for 8th (probably going to go back to 1 1/2 seeing they have the Knicks tomorrow) and only 2 1/2 behind Indiana for 7th. We play Indiana next, at home on Tuesday. Let's please, for the love of god, get a 3 game winning streak.

yeah remember the last CF that was a "5 tool player" and that was "special?" Yeah I figued someone was going to say it in this thread, so it might have well been me :wink: I'd do this trade right away especially if we can lock up Pierre long term. -
Bulls lose by 4. now 2 out. This team can't put together a winning streak (more than 2) if their lives depended on it. at least Philly plays Detroit tomorrow, but dang...it easily could've been a half game out instead of 1 1/2.

i dont want Paul Davis. I am firmly on the Tyrus Thomas bandwgn. and I believe we can give Detroit a ton more of a scare than Philly. I would love to see another playoff berth for this team...the playoff experience that the guys can get this year can be instrumental in the future.

Combined record of those teams: 74-137 (.351) Of the 3 next opponents, the worst team--Charlotte--is the one we face on the road. This week is set up very nicely for the Bulls. If they can't take care of business it's their own fault. for whatever reason, we suck against Charlotte this year. We are only 1-2 against them and that one win was on opening night when we came back from 22 down to win. But the game this week is far more important than the ones that we had earlier in the year. 1 1/2 out with 12 games left..I feel very confident that we can still make it with our moderately weak schedule against Philly's schedule.

this should be a real fun Final 4. i'm hoping for a final of LSU-George Mason with of course GMU winning it all.

Tyrus Thomas is a beast...I can't believe that LSU is doing this with all of these young players. alright go Memphis..I have to have at least one Final Four team picked right.

well I did pick Duke to lose in the Sweet 16..unfortunately it was to Cuse, not LSU. I'm still ecstatic that Duke lost :D

a Bradley win would certainly help me get UCLA to the Final Four Just like KU thought they'd be seeing the second round and Pittsburgh thought they'd be playing Memphis right now? Bradley is better than a 13, they have proven that already. Sure, but how long can it last? I mean, it's a great story, but a hot team with mid-major talent can only put together so many wins against teams with major conference talent. It's why the cinderella stories almost always end by the Elite 8. i don't think Patrick O'Bryant and Marcellus Sommerville have just "mid-major talent." Sommerville was an Illinois transfer and O'Bryant will be in the NBA someday. That is definitely not mid-major talent.

Bradley is better than a 13, they have proven that already. it's a joke that they got a 13 seed really...they were one of the hottest teams in the nation at the end of the year and they are "rewarded" with a 13 seed. Oh well, here's hoping they have a great 2nd half and knock out Memphis.

i just looked at both the Bulls and 76ers schedules and the Bulls have a far easier schedule for the final 14 games...I wouldn't say we are out of it totally, but a loss to the Hornets on Friday would probably seal the deal. Yea, but the problem is the fact the Bulls havent strung together a good 5 or 6 game stretch all year. I find it hard to believe they will do it now. They are inconsistent as hell. A good offseason however, could have this team as a top team in the East. yeah i agree with you. Missing the playoffs definitely wouldn't be that bad of a thing this year. Like you said, a good offseason can have us right up there again as one of the top 4 teams in the East.
