    Mesa now trails 4-2 in the 8th as Phil Norton gave up 2 runs in the 6th, including a homer.

    I think he kneecapped Hendry's brother. There is no other explanation for why he is not on the big league team right now.

    Peoria lost 5-1. Taylor went 7 innings giving up 7 hits, 4 runs, 0 BB's, and 3 K's. Teasley pitched the 8th and gave up 1 hit, 1 run, 0 ER, 0 BB's, and 1 K. Chirinos was 1/3 with a double, the only extra-base-hit that Peoria had in the game. Valdez, Reynolds, Carter, Garcia, and Lalli had the other 5 Peoria hits. Daytona is down 13-2 after 6. Palm Beach scored 10 in the 5th. Boise is down 2-1 after 2.

    Jaxx win 6-0! Mathes pitched a gem as he threw a complete game, 4 hit shutout. He walked none and struck out 4. EPatt was 3/4 with a double and an RBI, Nic Jackson had 2 singles and 2 RBI's, Chris Walker added 2 singles and an RBI, and Jake Fox also had 2 hits, including a double. Carlos Rojas also had 2 hits, including a double and an RBI. Peoria is down 4-1 in the 8th while Daytona is down 2-1 in the bottom of the 4th.

    Yep. Why would you cut off a throw in that situation where the 3B is all but backing you up anyway, as well as the surface being turf where the ball would bounce right at ARam? That did not make too much sense.

    Iowa ties it up at 1 in the 2nd thanks to a 2 out double by Buck Coats, followed by an RBI single by Soto.

    Mesa losing 11-5 in the 8th. Dolis started and didn't make it out of the 1st giving up 4 hits, 2 BB's, 6 runs, and striking out one in only 2/3's of an inning. Pagan went 1 for 3 before being pinch hit for in the 7th. All 5 of Mesa's runs came in the 7th.

    Don't you think Weaver is better? I like Lackey more than Weaver. Lackey did pick up the win in game 7 of the World Series as a rookie. He is a big game pitcher and he is still pretty young at the age of 27. For some reason, I think you are talking about Jeff Weaver instead of Jered.
