Skiles is the most stubborn coach ever. How can you keep Malik Allen in the game after he's been chucking up 18 foot jumpers at will without making ONE? And then he wonders why our offense struggles at times. Hmm, I wonder. Maybe if you don't give meaningful minutes to the likes of Malik Allen and Adrian Griffen, we won't suck as much on offense.

No offense, but good success in spring training doesn't translate into success into the regular season. I can't wait for this stupid exhibition to end already.

Hansbrough will be worse than McRoberts. i agree I dunno. I think Hansbrough's motor alone guarantees him a Anderson Varejao style role, and he's obviously a better finisher/foul shooter than Varejao. He's also smaller, but I think he has a lengthy NBA career, even if he doesn't ever validate his draft spot. I can't say the same about McRoberts. He won't be able to go past anyone, he can't really step out on the deeper perimeter, and he's not big/strong enough to be a force underneath. Yep, I agree with you. I see Hansbrough having a better NBA career than McRoberts. I'm just not impressed with McRoberts at all.

Of course, all of this could be irrelevant if we strike gold like the Raptors did last year and win the lottery :wink:

This is very important information. CHEAP SEATS! Do they have $10 seats for the playoffs, as well? The Bulls pull away late and take it 100-89. Thursday's big game against Detroit will be on CSNC/TNT. In previous years, they up the prices for the $10 tickets to $12 for the first round and $14 for the second. I'm going to try to get some second round tickets this year because I'll be home then. As for tonight, good win. Really good second half for the Bulls. Too bad the Pistons lucked one out tonight or we'd only be 3 games behind them. Now only 1 behind the Cavs for the 2nd position in the East.

I'll feel much better if Florida loses tomorrow, but with my luck they'll probably go all the way. :cry: At times like this, I hate sports. Why couldn't I have grown up loving Duke, the Yankees and the Patriots? My life would be so much easier. I apologize to everyone on the board for these horrible words, I'm just in a very depressed mood right now. Exactly how I felt about 4 hours ago... You'll get over it eventually. I'm already partly over it. But usually, the morning after is the worst. Hopefully I don't break my hand from punching a wall. The morning after is terrible, especially for me. I have a 45 minute drive to work and I always listen to the local sportstalk station. In the morning, all they'll be talking about is the game tonight. Thus I have to either relive every moment of this game or not listen to sportstalk (probably what I'll do). Then, when I get to work, being the sportswriter, I'm expected to discuss the game with whoever wants to and, while that's normally an enjoyable part of the job, it'll suck in the morning. The good thing is, my boss (an OSU fan) is on vacation so I won't see him again until Monday. Luckily I don't have to wake up till noon tomorrow. I'm going to try to avoid reading the paper too. It's going to be depressing though on campus. Depressing for you? We won nine freakin games this year! :lol: Well when you're four points away from being at your first Elite Eight in your school's history, it is pretty depressing. That and the fact how everyone was so excited for the game tonight. But I understand that I could have it much worse.

The officiating in the game might have been biased towards OSU, but in the last minute if anything it was to UT-the only real questionable call was the one on OSU where the two players hips just happened to collide while the UT player was on the way down. no way, really? What pisses me off more than this game is the fact that Ohio State should already be out. Greg Oden throws a guy out of bounds and somehow that's not a flagrant foul. Go Memphis, then go UNC/USC/Georgetown/Vandy. Please don't let this overpaid, undeserving team win a title. I gotta root for Kansas just because it'll make us look that much better.

How can one team be such a bad defensive team like Tennessee? That's why I picked them to have an early exit...that and their run and chuck offense was bound to end against a decent team. When tOSU was down by close to 20 at half, I told my roommate that this thing wasn't over yet (he had UT in his Final Four for some reason). At least I got something right tonight..

ESPN blows. I don't know how we can still be considered a mid-major after 6 straight tournament appearances, 2 Sweet 16 appearances, close to a 3rd Sweet 16 apperance a few years ago, and close to an Elite 8 apperance tonight. We've landed the two best recruiting class that we've ever seen for the next two years and if we can keep Lowery, I have all the faith in the world that Sweet 16 apperances should be the norm. I know I'm biased, but we've passed Gonzaga as the best non-BCS school. Memphis? ETA: Your point still stands, SIU can't be considered a scrappy mid-major, especially if Lowery stays. Yeah, I forgot to add Memphis. Memphis and SIU are by far the best non-BCS programs in the NCAA. And some good news..Tony Young appears to be set on staying in C'Dale and accepting a position as a grad coach. He's got a great basketball mind and probably the best defender I think I've seen in quite some time. Nice to see our guys maintain the faith and the pride in the program, even when their eligibility runs out.
