True. Even if it made sense to do that, they wouldn't, they'd rather draft kick returners and then pick 25-year-old Mormons at the position they should've drafted for. It doesn't make sense to do it because Ronnie Brown was showing signs of why he was the #2 pick in 2005 before he got hurt. They have many more needs than RB.

SIU hosts #24 St. Mary's tonight. We need a win in the worst way possible and a quality win over a good team would be icing on the cake.

Almost as great as watching Romo act like a little bitch when things weren't going great. 12-1 congratulations, you're playing for 2nd place just like the rest of the nfc Nope. We're playing for number six. Playing for it? Yes. With a solid chance of winning it? Not at all, not when the only way you can beat the Lions is with a lucky bounce. And that's just a fact, mandinga. We have as much chance to win the Super Bowl this year as the Bears did last year. Will we be favored? Hell no. Are the odds against it? Surely. But we'll have a shot. Agree. The Cowboys most definitely have a shot to win the Super Bowl this year. I don't expect them to, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they did. I would've been shocked if the Bears beat the Colts last year. Even though the Cowboys aren't likely to be favored, it's still just one game and you never know what's going to happen in one game. What happens if Tom Brady has a game ending injury in the first quarter a la Carson Palmer? Anything can happen in that one game. I think it's way too early to assume who's going to the Super Bowl. In 2005 at this time, everyone had the Colts penciled in as going to the Super Bowl. Last year, everyone had the Colts out because they couldn't stop the run at this point in the season. We all know what happened then. Great teams are made in January. We'll see what happens then.

Maybe we'll get that long awaited SIU-Illinois matchup in the NIT this year. They both look like terrible teams.

This Appalachian State-Richmond game has been very entertaining so far.

Pretty solid win for the Bulls tonight. If we can somehow beat the Celtics tomorrow, I'll be feeling much better about this team. And Duhon showed his worth once again in the 4th quarter tonight.

Oh, you're worse. Notre Dame only had one coach turn them down. Also, their wait between Losingham and Weis was 18 days and UM is now on their 19th with really no end in sight. yeah, we're probably worse at this point. we had the whole Miles fiasco, and now have been turned down by Ferentz and Schiano. at this point they'll probably offer the job to English and he'll turn them down too. might as well bring Carr back out of retirement for a year and try all this next year. I think Carr would just turn them down as well. -

A week after Charlotte beat Wake Forest, they take down Davidson at home. I'm a little concerned about our matchup against them on Saturday night.

Do what I do and don't believe any of the rumors during the Winter Meetings. It'll save you stress from terrible rumored deals like the one that Phillips just mentioned.

I like it. A little OT, but I don't like that guy's reasoning that ESPN has done wonders for the Arena football league. Last I checked, most people can't name three teams in that league. Just because they're on ESPN doesn't mean that every sports fan watches the AFL. I've been pretty impressed with the moves the league has made this year. It's apparent that they're moving in the right direction.
