  1. Wow, Boise looks terrible.
  2. Boise State tonight. Looks like many of us have big points on Boise to win.
  3. And now you know how it felt with the Utah-Navy game the other night in which several people put 20+ points on Utah and they squeaked by and won by a field goal. Yeah but that was the correct move. Utah was leaps and bounds better than Navy. Brigham Young and UCLA are pretty much a tossup. I agree, but I can see why many people put a lot of points on BYU. UCLA was with a new coach, they had a third-string QB playing, and BYU has substantially improved since the last time the two teams met.
  4. I had 14 on BYU. They did everything they could do to piss that game away. 4-1 overall including 3-0 today. Only loss so far was yesterday's game, but I only had 3 points on Memphis.
  5. lol @ the "BCS" chants. I can't believe Illinois actually won that game.
  6. What a BIG win for the Hawks tonight as Toews beats the Senators in OT. Great win for the Hawks.
  7. Huge win for us as we beat WKU 88-78. Wesley Clemmons had 24, Shaw had 24, and Falker had 22. They were huge for us today. The win puts us at 5-5 and sets us up for another big game next Friday night against #18 Butler.
  8. Cincy's QB has attempted 37 passes in the first half  'Cats lead Southern Miss 14-7 right before the half.
  9. SIU-Western Kentucky in an hour and five minutes. Sure would be nice to get a win over a team that has a lot of athleticism and one that will contend for the Sun Belt title.
  10. Big win for the Bulls tonight. I didn't get a chance to watch the 2nd half, but it sounds like Deng and Gordon actually came through down the stretch. And we also got an unlikely contribution from Aaron Gray
  11. :?: We won 5-2 tonight. Lang had 2 goals and Sharp had a PP goal and a shortie.
  12. 57-41 loss to Western Michigan. How in the HELL do you only score 41 points against WESTERN MICHIGAN? This is going to be a long season. Just hoping this team will catch fire, like we did two seasons ago, and win the conference tournament. That's the only shot we have if we want to make the tournament for the 7th straight year. :-&
  13. SIU should do the same thing. We play Western Michigan tomorrow and I'm hoping we just win. I don't care if the final score is 35-34. We just need a W, badly.
  14. They did have a timeout. Glad I wasn't the only one that realized that. Terrible decision by Lovie. And somehow, he's going to avoid criticism just like he has the whole season.
  15. 14 catches / 206 yards / 1 TD. Not bad for a guy everyone knows is getting the ball. How is that intentional grounding? The guy's fast as hell, but he doesn't have any hands at all. Plus, it always looks like he's out of position when he goes out to line up. And if I remember correctly, most of those catches came against the Lions in the game at Chicago when the Lions were playing prevent in the final 6 minutes or so of that game. He also had a few catches in that final two minute drill against the Eagles back when they were giving them the middle of the field. I shouldn't worry about it, but I don't think it's worked out as well as many were hoping it would. And yes, I'll agree that the grounding call was terrible.
  16. Should've been a third as well :x
  17. Yet the past couple of weeks on PTI, Kornheiser has been annointing Jackson as one of the better young QB's in the game. What a hypocrite. And you know what else? "We have seen some terrible announcing play tonight!"
  18. I think the Bears need to give up on that experiment that has Hester as a WR. It's so obvious what the playcalling is going to be when he's in there. And the Bears have a +4 turnover differential, yet they're only up by 1. Watch the 'Queens come back and win. The talking heads might as well just annoint them as the NFC Champs if that happens.
  19. At least the Vikings are being exposed as a team that really isn't that good. Seems like everyone forgets about that 34-0 beatdown they suffered a month ago.
  20. I see Smith and Turner still haven't given full control of the offense to Orton. Those swing and screen passes are a thing of beauty.
  21. Don't understand why this is such a hard concept for teams.
  22. The Giants are going to hurt the Giants in the playoffs. Jacobs might be getting ready to set a record for dropped passes. :( It's too bad he doesn't have any hands. He'd really be a great player if he could catch the ball as well as not putting it on the turf once a game.
  23. 44 shots and only 1 goal for the Hawks. They've now lost 6 of the last 7 games. They really need to string a few together before this slips away.
  24. This 'Skins-Giants game could be one of the worst that I have ever seen. With 5 minutes left in the 2nd half, here are the QB numbers: Collins: 3/13, 71 yards. Manning: 4/16, 24 yards. Already 11 combined punts between the two teams. This sure is fun.
  25. Oh, you beat the Seahawks for a reason. Hopefully you beat the Cowboys for the same reason on Saturday night.
