  1. Stacy King is awesome. Neil Funk is horrible. I really miss Larrivee on the WGN games. Seriously? I hated Larrivee. Dude had like 2 catch phrases that he used all the time and rarely when appropriate I don't know, Funk's really starting to grow dry on me. He never gets excited for any big moments. The Hughes' call against Utah was just ridiculousy bad. When Gordon hit the 3 to put the Bulls up for good tonight, he acted like it was just a normal shot that you'd see in the first half. I haven't heard a game on radio yet, so I don't know what/how Swirsky sounds like.
  2. Gordon and Rose were huge down the stretch. Good win for the Bulls. Now a couple of days off before another set of back-to-backs against Charlotte on the road and then against the Clippers. Hopefully we'll be able to win both of those.

  4. Rose still has a lot to do to become the best PG in the East. Devin Harris is unreal. And the Bulls have really choked as the Nets are on a 15-2 run right before the half. Great job guys.
  5. Tyrus had a sick dunk with a great feed from Hughes. Bulls rebounded from a 15 point deficit in the 1st and now have the lead midway through the 2nd.
  6. Quit while you can please. At least they got it right this year, and in the correct order to boot.
  7. He's truly awful on defense. It's just unfortunate that we wasted a great performance from Gordon last night. I also liked how we decided to go away from him in the 2nd half when he was back in the game. That's what we're best at when Gordon's hot.
  8. I'm sure glad I didn't get suckered into this thing.
  9. Yeah, my heart's just oozing with sympathy for the guy.
  10. Great hire for Auburn, if indeed true.
  11. I don't understand that at all, Drake is horrid this year (the MVC is as a whole). A rare OOC win against a BCS school for our conference this year, so I'll take it. And yeah, Stephen Curry is awesome. His ability to create shots the way he does is unreal. I think he'll be a decent NBA player.
  12. Larry Hughes hit another big shot tonight to give the Bulls the win. Duhon has really gotten chuck-happy since being on the Knicks too. He took a lot of awful shots down the stretch which really helped the Bulls out. One game under .500 with a chance to get there on Friday night against Memphis.
  13. Eh, I don't know. Tech's strength is stopping the run (11th in the country) while that's all NIU can do. They can't stop the pass (116th in the country) but that won't matter much because NIU hardly ever throws. I think Tech wins in a close game. And the way they do bowl selections now is that every team with a higher win total goes first in the bowl selection process. So before any six win teams get into a bowl game, ALL of the 7 win teams have to be in a bowl game first. Then they narrow it down and that's how those six win teams got into bowl games.
  14. I'm inbetween on this issue. If there was a playoff system, I'd agree all undefeated teams should be in the playoffs regardless. It's tough to win all your games no matter who you are playing. But at the same time, why should a team that plays in a weak conference and plays weak non-conference games be rewarded over a team that played in a much tougher conference and scheduled freaking USC in their non-conference slate. I'm glad Ohio State is playing tougher teams OOC. If they weren't embarrassed by USC, I probably wouldn't have as much of a problem with them getting the final BCS bid. But they lost by 31 points. Yes they were without Beanie Wells, but there's no way he makes up close to that amount. Boise State played an Oregon team in the Zoo that many teams probably wouldn't want to play at and they were in control throughout that game.
  15. Who else would you prefer? 1 loss Boise State and Ball State teams that played your high school among other terrible teams? 2 loss TCU or BYU from the Mountain West? 3 loss Georgia or Georgia Tech who couldn't win their respective divisions? 3 loss Oregon or Michigan State(who OSU beat)? Boise State's undefeated. And yes, I'd prefer Boise over Ohio State. so you'd prefer a team whose toughest opponent was Oregon over a team who played in the 2nd best conference in the country and lost to two current BCS teams? Now we're rewarding teams for losses? Ohio State was massacred against USC and they lost at home to Penn State. They did blow out Michigan State, but I think Oregon is right on the Michigan State level. And who's really the 2nd best conference in the country? Some are saying the SEC, Meph's now saying the ACC, and you're saying the Big Ten. That's entirely subjective. I'd take the team that has 0 losses at this point in the season over the team with 2 losses.

  17. Agreed, I also like Warner so I like watching him succeed again. The Cardinals are a very fun team to watch. Yeah, at least I'll have some team to pull for in the playoffs.
  18. Hahahaha, yes!
  19. Ah, nice to see the Jets start sucking. The AFC is a trainwreck.
  20. Two weeks ago, I really liked how we ended our season. Now, not so much. New Orleans is on a roll, Houston's frisky, and Green Bay is still lurking. If we win next week, I'll feel a whole lot better about our chances. You don't have to worry about us. That's going to be a beatdown.
  21. They're starting to get to Ben better than they were early. I bet he's still thinking about that hit that Scandrick layed on him. Or it could be because Roethlisberger isn't any good.
  22. I've heard NIU might actually get the other berth in the Independence Bowl to play La Tech.
