  1. Woohoo, Kirk Hinrich's coming back. Consider our season saved.
  2. Tough break for the Bears, Packers and Vikings. Tebow is returning for his senior year. I don't even think the Lions would have been that dumb to take Tebow #1 overall. That's pretty ridiculous.
  3. I really can't believe I picked the Giants to win this game when I knew the Eagles would pull it out. Oh well, my beat the streak is going back to zero. I had mine up to 9 last night going for 10 before Stanford blew a 13 point lead and lost in the final minute by 1 to Wazzou. That was disheartening. On a lighter note, I'm somehow 7-0 in my playoff picks so far. Only a complete idiot could be 7-0 right now so I'm not really taking this as too much of an accomplishment.
  4. Drew Gooden can't defend anything. What a joke. We're about to lose to a team that many said could be one of the worst in decades. This team SUCKS.
  5. This may be one of the worst playoff performances by a QB I've ever seen. I sympathize for you Andy. This reminds me a lot of the Packers-Rams divisional game in 01 when Favre threw 5 picks too.
  6. If the Eagles win, Arizona would host the championship game next week. I think they could beat Philly at home. The Giants on the road, not so much.
  7. Ah there's the Moose that I've seen the last few years in Chicago.
  8. It's not like Arizona is a terrible team. They played in a bad division, but this team obviously has explosive playmakers on offense and they are an extremely aggressive defense. How could we honestly know how good or bad Arizona is? They won 6 of their 9 games against their pathetic division (played the 49ers both times before they turned it around) and were 3-7 against the rest of the teams, with all 3 of those wins at home (albeit against Dallas, Buffalo and Miami). Plus 5 of their 7 losses were blowouts to playoff caliber teams. There was no reason to think they could beat a solid Carolina Panthers team (not that the game is over yet). Yes there was a reason they could beat Carolina. Don't overlook that game in the regular season against Carolina. Andy even said it too. The Panthers should have lost that game as Arizona was absolutely dominating it before a turnover and then Steve Smith caught fire. As a matter of fact, Arizona outgained Carolina in that game by 75 yards and Carolina only won by 4. We may not know how good the Cardinals are, but they certainly proved in the regular season that they could hang with the Panthers. That's why I really didn't understand why Carolina was such a huge favorite in this one.

  10. I did. I figured they'd do the same strategy that they did last week and stack the box to make Delhomme beat them. I'm also 5-0 in the playoffs right now, but that's bound to change. I also have San Deigo over Pittsburgh tomorrow which probably won't end too well.
  11. Wow that would be awesome if he coached I surely hope you're joking.
  12. I'm shocked that the USC fan would say something like this. Gordon's fine, especially when compared to Nick Young.
  13. I'm not understanding this. Are you saying we should all really believe that OU is the best team, even after losing the game? Quite the opposite, I was extremely unimpressed with Oklahoma last night and I find it really hard to believe that they're the 2nd best team in the nation after last night. And seeing how a 1 loss Texas team did in fact beat Oklahoma (who finished with two losses), there's no way Oklahoma should finish 2nd in the polls. If you're going to rank Texas ahead of Oklahoma, Utah and USC definitely should be ranked ahead of Oklahoma as well.
  14. I'd rather have my opinion attacked than just being blatantly called dumb. If you really believe Oklahoma was the 2nd best team in the nation after tonight, then I don't really know what to say to you. Actually this sums it up right: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/SportsKnowledge/thoklahoma20jim20ross20ow.gif
  15. Attack the post, not the poster(s).
  16. Sounds about right. Oh and sure Meph, put Oklahoma ahead of a team they lost to (Texas), USC, and Utah. That sure makes sense.
  17. Even when the Hawks were bad, I really enjoyed the NHL All-Star game.
  18. Wow shes a 9.5 in my book.....Also does anyone remember Brady Quinn's butt ugly gf he brought with him to the draft? You mean Quinn's sister and AJ Hawk's wife?
  19. http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/bay/sports/c-track/auto_headshot/849349.jpeg There's her Baylor pic. After all the times they showed her last night, I was hopeful that someone would have screencapped one of those.
  20. Probably cause they looked horrible in the bowl game and he has some big name backs against in the draft this year Yeah but he's just going to get another year of mileage added to him at Pitt. I don't think it's a good move for McCoy.
  21. I've heard she's a track athlete at Baylor. McCoy's girlfriend. And I saw that she is a track athlete at Baylor too. I wouldn't go so far to call her a 10, but an 8.5-9 would sound about right.
  22. To be fair, Cosby dove into the endzone when he scored. I know for a fact that a dive into the endzone now results into an excessive celebration penalty. And yes, I think that rule is a complete joke. That game was pretty dull and listless for the first three quarters but the 4th quarter was great. I wouldn't look at it as the Big Ten doing 'better than expected' but the Big 12 is doing much worse than expected. Outside of Kansas, they've struggled in all of their bowls. Texas looked real average on offense for most of the game and gave up 21 points to an Ohio State team that struggled to score any points against the two legitimate teams they played this year. Missouri was fortunate that Northwestern kicked to Macklin going into halftime, Texas Tech was rolled by Ole Miss, and Oklahoma State gave up a boatload to Oregon. I think it's safe to admit that there really is no clear-cut favorite for the best conference in the land. I'm really pulling for the Sooners on Thursday, but today's 'performance' by Texas is making me a little worried about that one.
  23. Packers fired every defensive coach except LB coach Winston Moss (who the Rams plan on interviewing for their head coach vacancy). If Moss doesn't get the STL job, he'll definitely be a frontrunner for the DC job. Mike Nolan is the other rumored replacement. This is really good because I thought Thompson and McCarthy didn't have it in them to let go of an inept staff, but they did it. Nicely done. Good start to the offseason.
  24. Why? Last I checked players that get drafted #1 overall alawys go to bad teams, for the most part. He had to know what he was getting himself into. I'm starting to fall into the 'this team isn't very good' camp. That Timberwolves game was atrocious. Tyrus was very good for the most part up until he was letting guys on Minnesota jump all over him late in the game for some big rebounds. Whatever, if we don't make the playoffs, maybe Stern can rig the lottery again so we can get the #1 pick. If we don't get Griffin though, we better trade that pick for something more meaningful as soon as possible.
