    Im saying Brett Favre next year in Minnesota, where he would not be throwing the ball 30 times a game, will have a better year then Cutler in Chicago. In Brett Favre's entire career, he's had one season where he didn't average 30 attempts per game. 2003...he attempted 29.4. If you're going to use the health of his entire career to say he'll be healthy this year, why not use his passes attempted stats from his entire career to determine how many passes he'll attempt? http://www.nfl.com/players/brettfavre/careerstats?id=FAV540222 And that was the year that Ahman Green nearly ran for 1900 yards as well as Davenport and Fisher averaging over 5 yards a carry. That was one of the best rushing seasons in NFL history and he still nearly averaged 30 attempts a game. People are foolish if they think Childress won't air it out with Favre. He'll fall into the same trap that Mangini did last year.

    To say Kobe should be suspended is completely asinine. But, Artest had a right to be as pissed off as he was. It's unreal that someone can get away with throwing a elbow (on a rebound attempt) with the foul being called on the guy that's on the receiving end of an elbow. It must be fun to be a superstar in this league. Artest being ejected was a complete joke as well.

    Oh he is? Jay Cutler's a much better quarterback than Favre is right now. Don't let your Favre love get to your brain that much.

    2007 was a fluke for Favre. I have no problems saying that. Just look at how bad his 2005 and 2008 seasons were and how pedestrian his 2006 season was. Just because it's "Brett Favre" doesn't mean the Vikings are going to be any better. I'm not seeing how they're going to be legitimate favorites to win the division anyway even with him. If anything, he's going to hurt Peterson this year because he won't be throwing the ball as much; meaning he'll be much more prone to making mistakes when he airs it out. It's going to be a three-horse race, Favre or no Favre. The media's going to make you believe that the Vikes will be the pick to win the division, but I wouldn't fall for it.

    I honestly hope it happens. I still can't believe how he went from one of my all-time favorite athletes to one of my most despised in the matter of less than a year. I'd love nothing more than to play him twice a year and hopefully beat his ass in those games. That'd be pretty satisfying.

    Why didn't they do that on Saturday? Scalabrine woulda just poured in 30. Actually, just checked they weren't that far off. Shot a combined 12-31. Eddie House is the one that killed you guys. Yeah, I thought Pierce had a better game than he did from the field. It's always the bums that kill us.

    What are you smoking? Hawks only have 7 more wins to get until they play the Bruins in the Finals :-D I don't want either of them... Lidstrom/Datsyuk scare the crap outta me... But so does Getzlaf :( It would be a nice problem to have because obviously that means we're one of the final four teams. I'd rather play the Ducks too, but a Hawks-Wings conference final would be insane.
