  1. No. How about we include our two first round picks in a package that nets Bosh or Amare? That's the best case scenario. Unless they resign, they should both be unrestricted FA's in 2010. Yeah but more than likely, they'll both be in play this offseason if they can't agree to an extension. Teams don't want to lose them for nothing. And neither one of them will be available for just draft picks. This team is starting to get very strong while still being young. There is a chance Gordon will be gone this off-season. Do we really want to give up more parts of this team to get a player that will be a FA in one more year? That's why I said include the draft picks in a package for one of them. Obviously I realize that it's going to take more than draft picks to acquire anyone in the league, really because of having to match salaries and what not.
  2. We got a late first rounder from OKC (via Denver I think) for Thabo.
  3. I'd like a Friday start to this series.

  6. Ugh, although Ive got confidence in BG trying to play. They guy took a shot at half just to be able to finish the last game, so if there is any way he can play he will. Yeah I still think he'll play too, but this sucks. I was actually pretty confident that we could win there tonight. Hopefully this is a little bit of a posturing job, but I don't think that'd be something BG would do.
  7. Damn it, I was hoping they'd delay the start of the series until Saturday so I'd be back near Chicago for at least Game 4.
  8. Why? Cuz I'd rather face Vancouver than San Jose. I think most would. Ehhh.... Tired SJ team that we can exploit their weakness... or a Rested Canucks team who dominated us the last 2 games. If San Jose wins this series after being down 3-1, they'd be a very scary team to face in the next round. Again, they have much more offensive firepower than the Canucks do. There's no question I'd rather play Vancouver.
  9. That game was so awesome. What's worse for the Hornets is not only was it a 58 point loss at home in the playoffs, but they had trouble scoring 60 points against the NUGGETS. Holy crap that's brutal.
  10. BIG BUFF WAS A MAN TONIGHT! SEE YOU IN ROUND 2!
  11. We better not sit on the puck. Stay aggressive please.
  12. Yeah, I really don't either. Playoff hockey > April baseball.
  13. Khabibulin has been stunning through the first two periods. Twenty more minutes!
  14. Buff's having a hell of a game.
  15. Ugh, stop committing penalties.
  16. Uh yeah, that makes up for missing on the open net. WHAT A PASS!
  17. Ahhhhhhhhhh, Buff has to come through there.
  18. I definitely don't think the 90's Bulls teams would've swept a Celtics squad with a healthy KG. Some of those Bulls teams lost a couple of games to the Knicks in the semifinals and I think we lost a game to the Heat as well one of those years. Boston probably would win two games in a best-of-seven. Gordon's hamstring is fine.
  19. I have a good feeling about tonight. Hawks win 4-2 getting an empty netter at the end. That's pretty big that Phaneuf is out for the Flames.
  20. That's exactly what he did. Not to mention he can somehow hit 21 foot jumpers without a problem now.
  21. Daywalkers. Have they put up any pics of Gordon holding his junk after he hit the three? Sorry if it was posted earlier. I didn't read the thread today. That was probably my favorite moment of the playoffs so far. There's gotta be a pic of that somewhere. Sounds pretty distasteful and classless. Maybe that's only if Paul Pierce did it. Hey I rooted for you guys last year. I've been pretty even-keel with Pierce compared to others. Now Perkins and Big Baby, that's a different story.

That was probably my favorite moment of the playoffs so far. There's gotta be a pic of that somewhere. Watching the highlights, I still can't believe that was a "charge" on Rose when he should've had a 3-point play. It's all for naught now, but the man should start benefiting from some calls soon I hope.
  23. http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2009/04/2009-undrafted-free-agent-signings-list.html I like Simmons a lot, I think he can make the team over Ruvell Martin. I think everyone knew that Sutton could've been a mid-round pick if he could stay healthy. And I absolutely love that we signed Willie Williams (former #1 overall defensive player in the country).
  24. Will Davis to Arizona. The Cardinals have had a real good draft too.
