  1. Well yeah, of course. But if we spin Jackson for Teahen, then that makes a little more sense. I still wouldn't like it all that much but that's better than including Jackson in a deal for Grabow and Gorz.
  2. How will he be a loogy though when he's better against righties? We acquired the wrong left-handed reliever. Grabow in his career has been better vs leftys That's true but he's been significantly better against righties this year. I don't know, I really don't like John Grabow but that's just me.

  4. Ugh, if we go this route why can't we get Rhodes or Downs? I'm not a fan of Grabow at all.
  5. Well since Reed's going to be out for a month, we need a right-handed bat that can play any of the outfield positions. Sure you can call up Fuld, but what purpose is he going to have since Kosuke would more than likely still hit lefties? What about someone like Scott Hairston? I know he was just traded to the A's not too long ago, but they're not going anywhere anytime soon. Plus we all know that Beane is one guy that Hendry loves to deal with, and vice versa. He's absolutely mashing lefties this year as well going .360/.439/1.113. If the price is right, this is one guy I'd love to have.
  6. I really hope Milton makes them pay for this. This is the ultimate slap in the face.
  7. I've thought of that option too and I'd be interested in doing that.
  8. Is the Favre love already returning for GB fans? Not for me. It's going to take a lot of time to heal those wounds.
  9. NO! They need to tell him he either comes for the entirety of camp or he's no longer welcome. Especially after telling the offensive coordinator and head coach and everyone that he's done. See? The only way I'll believe he's retired is when he's been gone for years. Until then, he's always going to be treating someone like a giant yo-yo. Welcome to the Packers' nightmare, Minny. :D) It's nice to be on the other side of the coin. The Vikings front office and coaching staff can say all they want how the Favre fiasco won't hold a distraction over the team. There's no question in my mind that part of our struggles last year were due to the whole Favre saga that was ongoing in training camp. You can bet that if Jackson or Rosenfels get off to a bad start, the Favre questions will be coming full steam. I'm just glad another organization is going through this. If you play with a guy that just seeks attention and only cares about himself, you deserve to let this happen to you. The best thing the Vikings can do is to tell everyone that they have no interest in Favre and that it doesn't matter if he's still working out; he's not coming to Minnesota. That doesn't appear to be happening as Childress seems hell-bent on wanting Favre in purple.
  10. I can't wait to hear more crap from Kaplan's great 'sources' over the course of the next few days.
  11. lol Mitch Atkins. Samardzija should be getting stretched out at Iowa, Stevens should still be here, and Atkins shouldn't be close to the majors unless he took a job as the team's bat boy. What a joke.
  12. The trade was trash for trash. It's not like Fields and Wise are anything special either.
  13. I'm as big of a Dunn fan as a lot of people on here, but it seems like every year right around now we always hear at least one Dunn to the Cubs rumor. I'm not putting any stock into anything Van Pelt says.
  14. You do have to admit it's pretty interesting to see how much power all of us on NSBB have when it comes to making personnel moves with the Cubs. What BBB said is exactly how I feel. Hendry's even more of a joke than I thought he was if this is the reason why he couldn't pull the trigger on a Peavy deal.
  15. We checked it out yesterday while we were standing in line for the bleachers. Pretty nice view.
  16. He had to have put a dent in the batters eye. That thing was crushed.
  17. That'll work! Stage is set for Uncle Milton.
  18. Good start. Let's see that Aramis walkoff.
  19. Well we got everything out of Samadzija that we possibly could have, I would think. Can we please score A run?
  20. Hasn't he pitched the last three days?
  21. Fontenot's so bad. People can argue all they want about Freddy Sanchez, but we need an upgrade at 2B. This Fontenot/Baker crap isn't going to get it done.
  22. Well with Shark coming into a tie game, it's safe to say this game won't be tied for much longer.
