uhh they would have won if they got the first down They could not have taken knees to win there. The Colts only had one timeout. The game was over if the Pats converted.

Is there a greater moment in the NFL than seeing Bill Bellichick sprint off the field after a loss?

Very reminiscent of the AFC Title Game in 06.

Al Michaels is quickly going senile. Bellichick can't challenge because the Pats are out of timeouts and the play occurred before the two minute warning. Colts have to be very careful to take their time on this drive. You don't want to give that offense enough time to march down the field to kick a game-winner.

Pats would almost immediately be in FG distance if they did recover the onside, though.

Sure, why not? We'll be tied for a wild card spot so of course you have to forget that loss if we hang on and win here. They are the definition of mediocre. They have the talent to beat good teams but also have the ability to underachieve and lose to a Tampa. I look at the schedule and think they could win the rest outside of Pittsburgh but than I think they could easily lose the rest. They'll probably go 4-4. Oh, I agree with you. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if we lose at home to SF next week.
