i would honestly shut him down for the rest of the year. Or at least shut him down until April. Whether its March, April, or October, just don't be in any hurry. I'd shut him down for at least a month and then ask him if his foot is any better. If he still can't test it properly, then I have no issue at all with shutting him down for the rest of the year.

Kane probably would not have made the Canadian team, Thorton was probably the 2nd forward Yzerman picked Kane would've made the Canadian team. Don't let your irrational hate towards him cloud your vision.

Tyrus also never got consistent minutes like Taj is getting. The Bulls drafted Tyrus as a project and then expected him to play like a 10 year vet. Not really. Skiles didn't give him much of a chance but VDN did. What will it take for people to realize that Tyrus Thomas isn't very good?

Sweden's not six goals better than Finland. I'm still not worried. That game was amazing. Easily the best sixty minute hockey game I've ever witnessed. I'm sure glad ice dancing trumped it! Oh and how awesome did the Hawks look tonight? Kane made a lot of nifty moves, even though he didn't convert on any of them. That one move where he was able to just fly by a couple of Canucks and get to the net was incredible. And in a losing effort, Toews and Keith were probably Canada's best players tonight. Seabrook was decent too. Couple that in with Hossa's performance for Slovakia and the Hawks are having themselves quite the Olympics right now.

Lately, it seems like he's a guy that's always close to getting a double-double every game. For an extremely weak draft class, we should be thrilled that we were able to land him 26th overall. I criticized the pick just as much as anybody else and he's done a fantastic job in making me eat my words.

I've already seen more post moves from Warrick in these two games than I ever saw from Tyrus. Some of the dunks tonight were more spectacular than anything we saw last Saturday night. That was fun.

Hossa scored to tie Russia earlier in the 3rd. Two minutes left in regulation in a 1-1 tie. Game's on CNBC.

Let's see how well Canada fares against Switzerland in a couple of hours. That should give us a decent gauage of where we're at before the showdown on Sunday.

The swapping of picks is meaningless. The Bucks will finish worse than the Bulls How can you assume that when 1/4th of the Bulls rotation just left the team? Yes I think the Bulls are probably still better, but I certainly do not know that for sure. Care to wager? The Bulls will continue to go as far as Rose, Noah, and perhaps Deng take them. We're better than the Bucks. And it pains me to see Hinrich, in all likelihood, escape another deadline and remain a Bull. What the hell is it going to take to see this guy get moved?

What are the contract situations of those players? I don't think Alexander is an expiring....I think he's only been in the NBA for 2 seasons. Aren't rookie contracts 3 years guaranteed? Milwaukee didn't pick up his rookie option. They're both FA's after this year.

It sounds like Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander will be coming to us from Milwaukee now. If true, that should further cement the fact that Tyrus will be dealt by tomorrow afternoon. Warrick makes Tyrus completely obsolete. That's a much better haul than Thomas and Elson too, so hopefully people won't cry about this.

At least Harrington can space the floor, something that this team really doesn't have much of.
