  1. Tried to go for an open rebound but he fumbled the ball and it went up and into the Bulls basket. I'm gonna LOL so hard if the Bulls win by 1. It almost looked like that he did it deliberately. We'll take it.
  2. We'll see if Silva can keep pitching decently. It's not a surprise to me that Byrd has been doing well, but Silva I did not expect. It's so early though, I'm still bracing for bad Silva to show up. Plain and Simple: Cubs win in the Byrd for Bradley trade (using Mariner money). Anything positive out of Silva makes it really one sided. I never knew a full season was worth seven games. That's a new one.
  3. I'd freak out if that happened. In a good way :) Don't they trade their pick if they make the lottery or something odd like that? If it's not a top 3 pick, we have to swap with Milwaukee.
  4. We match up much better against Nashville than Colorado. I'm a little upset that we don't have home ice, but it's not like San Jose is prone to choking or anything. I'm glad the games don't start until Friday. We just played five games in eight days. Give the guys a little bit of a rest to make sure we're 100% for the start of the playoffs.
  5. Staying true to form from version one, the Packers select Mike Iupati.
  6. Yeah, and there's also no real reason to think the Wings will be better than the Hawks next year either.
  7. I don't see, under any circumstances, either of these players doing anything useful this year. Probably not. It's frustrating to spoil two great starts from Dempster and Silva due to the bullpen and a poor offensive output.
  8. The thing that pissed me off the most was that Lou double-switched Berg into the game. Berg had a 1-2-3 inning on just seven pitches. The pitcher's spot doesn't come up in the top of the 8th because of the double switch. Sure enough, Lou pulls an effective Berg for Caridad and the rest is history. Some of the guys on offense, namely Theriot and Soriano, need to get it in gear.
  9. Rose choked like a dog at the end of this game. More missed FT's and then an inexplicable turnover with around a minute left in the first OT led to a three point play for the Nets to draw them within a point of us. What a terrible loss. But according to Funk and King, the Nets are the ones that are chokers. Look at your own team tonight, you idiots.
  10. The offense is looking real good, especially after that disaster 48 hours ago. Of course not facing LeBron helps as well.
  11. Kevin Dillard is apparently transferring to Xavier and Anthony Booker to Mizzou. The defections bring Lowery's number up to 12 since he set foot at SIU. Not only that, but we lose our best player and a guy that figured to only get better over the next two years. The program's officially dead. We'll be lucky to field a team next year, at this rate.
  12. I hate them more than the Red Wings. What an annoying team.
  13. As long as we win out, we don't have to worry about Detroit.
  14. Holy [expletive]. Purnell's a constant choker but if DePaul's even in that position, he's the right guy. That's a lot of dough.
  15. DePaul hires former Clemson coach Oliver Purnell for 7 years/$15 million.
  16. There's an excellent chance that's true, he slow spot up shooter, they don't get drafted by the NBA. and its widely known that the NBA is the only organized pro basketball league in the world. what a shame he won't get to play with the class acts that populate the NBA :) It's the only organized pro basketball league that matters.
  17. purdue was the 4 seed, they were "supposed" to make it where they did. da bum wants a purdue highlight reel for some reason. Seriously dude? They were the most popular first round upset pick (even Obama took Siena) and just about no one picked them to the Sweet Sixteen. I obviously didn't want a highlight reel so let's not be a donkey about this. I said I was a bit disappointed that Kramer's lay up was included and that the only time Purdue was shown was more because of Singler than the Purdue player. Congrats, they beat a 13 seed and Texas A&M; a team that dies year in and year out in the second round. Who cares?
  18. Duke will probably be preseason #1.
  19. I feel like throwing up. That [expletive] hurts.
  20. That'll make me feel a lot better.
