Hopefully they can rally. I want Brewster and Zook to stay in charge as long as possible. I don't think there's a chance Brewster keeps that job after this season.

NIU had over 300 yards of rushing against Minnesota last night. They'd be gunning for 0-12 if Dasher suited up for Mid Tenn State on opening night.

He has to be the first coach canned. A lot of people thought they'd overtake Arizona last year and everybody basically thought they'd win the division this year. 0-3 after three weeks, where two of those losses came in blowout fashion, can't be good for anyone associated with that team.

i don't think Todd Haley knows about Charles That was [expletive] ridiculous. I can only imagine how bad you're feeling over that, but those calls were really bad. Then the pass interference, which would've brought up a 4th down in the 4th, was just as equally bad of a call. I know it doesn't mean anything, but the Lions actually look like a team that's pretty well-coached. I'm hoping we don't see Stafford next week either.

Bulaga's better than Clifton is right now. I hope he gets the start. Our offense struggled the first few games last year too, so I'm not really worried about that. -

I expect our 1-5-5 formation to get plenty of work. We sure as hell better not be doing straight up man blitzes after what the Bears offense did to Dallas several times yesterday. -
This is the worst national booth in the league. I'd even rather listen to Ron Pitts and John Lynch than listen to the 3 hour slurpfest that these guys put on.

I actually think that this is one game where we won't miss Grant. The Bears have always stopped the run really well and their secondary is still a question mark. I'm assuming that Rodgers and Cutler will both be throwing a ton next Monday. -
I'll be in Minneapolis for the riveting contest between NIU and Minnesota. Huskies need to win one of the 3 OOC games against BCS opponents. Going 0-3 against Iowa State, Illinois and Minnesota would be a pretty dismal start to a season where they were supposed to return to being a decent football team. It'll be nice to check out TCF. Looks like a solid venue.

Ever since Lovie became the coach, the Bears-Packers series has been pretty even. -
Your first sentence just isn't true. And I'd be less annoyed by it had they not flagged ND for 2 delay penalties early in the game. Like I said, Kelly made some real head scratchers and ND turned the ball over almost every time they didn't score. ND had a chance to blow the game open early and didn't. It's just frustrating to have an obvious penalty on the last play not called and then the blown called excused by a conference. The difference between lining up a 46-yarder and a 51 yarder is pretty huge right there. it wasnt that obvious I was at a party and nobody had a real rooting interest in the game. Everybody immediately screamed for a delay of game. I thought it was real obvious.

Basically what I came away with. Rodgers went 11 for 13 in the 2nd half which was good to see. The Bills pass defense is actually decent. Brandon Jackson is not a starting RB in this league. I would love them to acquire Lynch but I don't see that happening. And yeah Clay Matthews is just ridiculous, 6 sacks already this year and he has something like 16 sacks in 15 career starts he is a beast. Next week should be interesting going to Chicago to face the 2-0 Bears on Monday Night. And also, nice to see the Vikings 0-2. I'm willing to overpay for Lynch. If our pass rush is going to be that persistent with Matthews on one side and Jenkins on the other, I really believe that this team is going to be really good. I listened to the radio interview after the game and McCarthy sounded pretty pissed with the "running back by committee." Here's hoping that we make a rather substantial move this week before next Monday.
