  1. McNabb's looked pretty bad in most of their games this season.
  2. I think the Tramon one was clean. I don't know how you're able to overturn that call. The Woodson one was definitely not a pick, but he sold it really well. Thankfully, Rex Ryan's an idiot and wasted a challenge early in the game.
  3. What the hell is this supposed to mean? It's not like one win against a contending team makes you Super Bowl contenders yourself. Remember when the Bears beat the Colts in 08 and the Steelers last year? You might win the division, but the fact is nobody in our division should be bragging at this point. GB is still a very flawed team. Saying a month ago that the Packers fans on this board are respectful is the biggest plate of crow I have ever eaten. Just because one guy is an idiot doesn't mean the whole fan base is.
  4. Uh yeah. If Illinois were to make the Gator Bowl, I'd love that. It certainly seems like that its been one of the bigger bowl games to lose its luster lately, but it's still a New Year's Day game with a pretty rich history. @ Michigan is going to be tough. One thing that Illinois has had trouble with on defense this year is mobile QB's. In the NIU game, Harnish ran all over them and kept them in it all the way until the very end of the game. Of course Pryor's two big runs ultimately ended up being the deciding factor as to why Ohio State beat Illinois. I think NIU's a better team than Michigan, but it's something to look out for from Denard on Saturday. I think Illinois wins but it's going to be a much tougher game than the last two games have been.
  5. Heard it on 670 a little while ago. I'm not that clever to make that up.
  6. Apparently, the Raiders are going to put a claim on him.
  7. What happened to "this just isn't our year"? This has certainly been one of the stranger years I can remember. I would have never thought in a million years that we'd pitch a shutout with quite a few defensive contributors on the mend. Our depth is being tested at quite a few positions on the field, and the replacements are actually looking pretty adequate. These last two weeks have been gigantic for us. It'll be big to get Harris and Bigby back as well. It would, mainly for depth purposes. I think we'll see Harris at nickel but Shields has actually been very solid whenever he's been out there. I think Peprah has the other safety job locked up. He's probably been the biggest surprise of the season so far.
  8. Hopefully the defensive effort is much improved -- although they actually had a good game on Saturday.

  10. I can't believe the Vikings brought him back after the first time, and why does Randy Moss not get the same treatment/have the same rep as Terrell Owens? If Owens said anything like this, it would be front page news everywhere. Both guys have been ran out of everywhere they play but are extremely productive players. I seem to not see this hardly anywhere especially on ESPN. They're playing the wrong clip from that interview. The other stuff is far more interesting than what he said about not answering questions for the rest of the year.
  11. Pistons coach gets a big assist for taking BG out early in the 4th and not bringing him back in until after the Bulls took the lead with under 2:30 left. I'm not sure how Rip Hamilton continues to get as much burn as he does. He's useless.
  12. And that Moss press conference might be the strangest press conference I've seen a player have after the game. He basically just talked his current team down and it certainly seems like he regrets blowing up in New England. Just strange. It has the potential to get really ugly in Minnesota.
  13. Favre left the game on a stretcher for a cut on his chin? My God. That's worse than Dwyane Wade leaving a game on a wheelchair with an arm injury. Oh yeah, that defensive effort that we had today was outstanding too. I thought for sure that the Jets would score on one of their gimmick type plays, but we did a great job of stuffing those. The Woodson pick obviously wasn't a pick, but our corners do an outstanding job of being able to force the issue with plays like that. 5-3 headed into a game next week with our confidence sky high while Dallas is on the complete other side of the spectrum. 6-3 at the bye sounds really sweet to me.
  14. lolololol Brian Kelly.
  15. I love it too. Feel weird rooting for Iowa but I'm enjoying this.
  16. Bolland out tonight. Potulny re-called.
  17. I know it's just Purdue but they look real good today. 8-4 isn't out of the question with the remaining schedule.
  18. Can Iowa just please win tomorrow?
  19. Not sure how that guy got the contract that he did. He's a bum.
  20. I don't know why Bulls fans are complaining that the Pistons got robbed because of bad refs, but ok. I have no issue with the Thunder getting calls. I'd much rather see them get calls than Miami, LA, etc.
  21. I think it's fair to start worrying about this team. I know Campbell's due back soon, but the defensive effort has been ridiculously bad this season. The Oilers were outshot today but they had many more prime scoring chances compared to the Hawks. That's been the common theme this year. What do the Hawks do well? I'm struggling to come up with an answer.
  22. in 2007, Nick Saban in his first year at Alabama lost to Louisiana Monroe. You're trying to tell me that they were the best team in CFB just 2 years later? You must be smoking something. I'm not the one comparing Nick Saban to Brian Kelly, so I think I'm clean.
  23. by improving? I've heard that for the last four years.
  24. Didn't we just make a big deal about ND's schedule the next two years? If they can't beat Navy, how are they going to compete with some legitimate teams in the next few seasons?
