Liz throws hard. Real hard. Fastball in the mid 90s, clocked as high as 99. Has a hard slider also. Liz will probably be tough to figure out early on. But being a young pitcher with his type of arm, the key is to be patient with him. He is prone to wildness and will walk people. As Vance noted, he's an extreme flyball pitcher. So, he will give up the longball also. Make him work early in the game, and he probably doesn't make it out of the 6th. Has only thrown more than 93 pitches, once in the majors and in that game he completely fell apart around that point. Interesting matchup for Marquis. Baltimore will throw out Huff, Markakis, Roberts, Cintron, and Scott from the left side. But Huff, KAK and Scott like to get under the ball and elevate it. O's are a pretty aggressive team, without much patience, so that plays into Marquis' hands. If Jason is on, the O's shouldn't be able to do anything with him. If not, they are good enough to take him out by the 4th.
