  1. Lee has to get a better pitch that than to hit in that situation. 2-1, and pitch is low and away-er than the other 3.
  2. I don't like Ward pinch hitting to lead off an inning. He's a run producer. And if he does get on base, you have to burn a pinch runner.
  3. Nice. Thanks for being on my fantasy team's bench tonight, Theo! :banghead:
  4. I prefer to think of myself in a threesome with Nicole Graves and Raven Riley. I just google imaged these 2 chicks, cuz I had never heard of them. Dayum! to Nicole. Raven, eh. Always nice when one of the first pics you see after a search shows naked bosoms.
  5. So, you are saying it doesn't matter how many people the Cubs walk?
  6. Lol, yeah. That's my girl. She is sleeping on me right now. thanks. please post the first puke. i'll post my cat's next retch. all baseball related dontcha know... I so banned that dude. Ban hammer.. Uh oh... I just gave O_o an opening to lay one on me.. Don't worry. They brought me on to keep an eye on O_o, making sure he doesn't go rogue. He's like the human form of Modzilla.
  7. Cubs have 1 flyout (outside of the 2nd inning) that has gone less than 300 ft.
  8. Lol, yeah. That's my girl. She is sleeping on me right now. i don't throw terms like "cute" around very much but that is one cute baby girl. Agreed. She is adorable.

  10. Just looked it up, that is actually Gerut's only hit against a non-Cubs pitcher ever.
  11. That's a lot of neck between those two. And not a trap muscle to be found between them.
  12. Not a horrible outing. More like he just hit a wall. I'd really like to know the number of balls and strikes he threw.
  13. The Marlins were the wildcard. The Cubs won the NL Central in 03. The Marlins had the better record, but the Cubs still had home field.
  14. That's what I was thinking. Rookies.
  15. Gore, Parker, and Witten for the Dizzawgs.
  16. Back to back originally scheduled starts rained out...including one in freaking Mesa. As long as the result is similar to the last.
  17. Why is Outman in the pen? He seems to be a good enough prospect to start games. Needs more innings to develop a 3rd pitch (changeup?). Cardenas is a great prospect. Exactly what the As need. Solid all around player. Patient at the plate, doesn't strike out a bunch. Has good doubles power that will allow him to develop into a 20 HR hitter as he matures. He reminds me a little of a LH Ian Kinsler.
  18. I can't get on Yahoo fantasy at work. I'll try from home tonight.
  19. 20 active scoring or are you including a bench as well in that number? The number of major league roster players will likely play a big part on what overall team salary will be. I'd imagine that would be including the bench. I'd probably like less minor leaguers since I don't keep track like I used to.
  20. I heard this list of OFs the Mets are interested in. The last word I was use to describe it is "short".
  21. Derosa's fine in the OF. Unfortunately he's been stuck out there long-term and has had trouble recently. I agree with the sentiment that one of Fontenot, Derosa, Blake would have to have the ability to play SS as a backup. The only person Blake could replace on the bench would be Cedeno. I'd go with 1 less pitcher, but that's not going to happen.
  22. Wow, Lilly has owned the Astros. Tejada, Lee, Pence, and Berkman are a combined 9 for 65 against TRL. Berkman 1-11 w/ 5 Ks, Pence 0-6, 3 Ks. Those are the Astros likely 3-6 hitters tonight. The Cubs likely 3-6 hitters are 19 for 56 vs. Moehler, with 7 HRs. Edmonds is 12-34 with 5 HRs against Moehler.
