Who knows, but each city is different. Chicago hasn't tried to get big named FAs, and they are certainly different to sign with than Cleveland or Green Bay. Kind of a trick question. Of the cold weather/outdoor teams, the Bears, Steelers, Packers, Patriots, Ravens, and Giants aren't big players for big-time FAs from other teams because they build thru the draft and typically have been good at it. Cleveland, Cincy, KC, and Buffalo have been pretty bad in recent history and aren't attractive to FAs. That just leaves the Jets, Broncos, Eagles, and Redskins. The Jets get plenty of big named players, but they traded for Kris Jenkins, Braylon Edwards, Thomas Jones, Lito Sheppard, and Greg Ellis; and they've signed cold weather guys like Faneca, Leonhard, and Bart Scott. The Eagles aren't big FA players either, but they have signed a few players from other cold weather teams also (Samuels, Sean Jones, Andrews, and essentially Jason Peters). Denver signed a couple of Eagles last offseason. So, I think it's more coincedence than anything a warm weather player hasn't gone to these places. The Redskins have signed DeAngelo Hall and Haynesworth in the last couple years for ATL and TEN respectively.
