  1. HOLY [expletive] Crap! You gotta be kidding me!
  2. Damn that was a fn touchdown. I'm so pissed right now!
  3. Ok, if I know this. Mike Martz has to. It's not ironic that the short passing game has opened up the 7-step drops Martz likes to do.
  4. I'm done w/ Chris Williams.
  5. HAHAHA. Dumbass McNabb.
  6. Break right there. Tillman, start playing better football.
  7. No. 0 last 24 on 3rd down w/ Cutler. Like 1 for 35 overall last 4 games.
  8. lol if that's all what needs to happen then yeah, I'd say there's a chance. They probably don't even need Oregon to lose. If Alabama wins out, they only need 2 of Oregon, Michigan St, and Missouri to lose.
  9. Is there any chance Alabama does NOT repeat? They'll beat LSU. They'll win at home vs. Auburn. The East is no contest. Oregon's gonna lose to either USC or Oregon St. Michigan St. is going to lose to Iowa. Mizzou is going to lose to Nebraska next week. Boise and TCU won't get the respect.
  10. Not feeling as worried about this game as I was last week. This time last week, I had a bad feeling...which turned out to come to fruition. The last time the Bears OL got this much bad press, they came out and ran all over the Carolina Panthers. So, with all the crap getting thrown at them about the OC needing to call shorter drops and quicker routes, the QB needing to get rid of the ball faster, and the OL needing to pick up blitzers....I think the Bears put it together and have an offensive game similar to the Cowboys game, but with fewer big plays. Last week, my keys to the game were 1. Defense keep playing. I feared w/ Cutler back they would lessen the intensity, and it appears that's what happened. 2. Keep running. The Bears ran 12 times, became 1-dimensional and lost the TOP battle by 10 minutes. 3. Turnovers. The D made it too easy on TO prone Hasselbeck and didn't make any plays. Shoulda listened to me! :D This week, forget keys. It's nothing special that needs to be done to beat the Redskins. A simple gameplan that's similar for every team in the league just needs to be executed. Washington's D has given up more yards than anyone in the NFL. Run the ball. Don't turn it over. Protect the QB. Stop the run. Rush the opposing QB. Do all of those things halfway decently, you win.
  11. IU calling horrible plays. Your QB that can only run in an empty backfield. Illinois put 6 in the box against 5 blockers and ironically enough stops the play. Oh and a fumble to go with it.
  12. It would be a lot easier of a decison if theyd take someone like JJax, Carpenter, or Coleman instead of Archer, but thats pretty much the type of package that youd have to give up for a guy like Greinke unless its a salary dump or they were trying to rush him out of town, but neithers thst case. With such a package however, we should be able to get Alex Gordon as well if we were to throw in another smaller piece. How would it not be a salary dump? He's going from 7Mil to 13.5Mil. Nobody else on the team will make more than 4Mil. Oh and Alex Gordon has no value. He's a 3B turned OF, who hasn't shown he can hit well enough to be valuable at either position. His minor league numbers have not translated and next year will be his 5th year in the majors and he will now be at the age where he doesn't have a lot of time to figure it out (27).
  13. Wow, some terrible give aways so far.
  14. With Calvin Johnson and Garcon out, my 2nd and 3rd WRs are a mess. Pick 2: Louis Murphy @ Den Sims-Walker @ KC Jason Avant @ TEN (can pick up on waivers) Michael Jenkins v. CIN (can pick up on waivers) Brandon Tate would be dropped if I picked up Avant or Jenkins. FWIW, Kolb is my QB.
  15. Cool. I thought about trying this. I don't think I can do all 20. But my top 10. 1. Jim Brown 2. Joe Montana 3. Walter Payton 4. Jerry Rice 5. Dick Butkus 6. Lawrence Taylor 7. Peyton Manning 8. Barry Sanders 9. Johnny Unitas 10 Sammy Baugh I'm interested to see who is higher of the Colts QBs. I think NFL Network will go w/ Peyton over Unitas.
  16. Somebody's getting fined, I'd guess. Doesn't mean they're wrong, though. They are wrong. It's a pretty easy rule to follow. The launching and the initial contact being made with the helmet and/or to the opponents helmet are really easy to not do. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-videos/09000d5d81b80962/Player-safety The video also shows a hit by Ray Lewis where he was in the exact same situation as Harrison on Massaquoi, and similar to Robinson on Jackson. Lewis hit the receiver in the chest, with his shoulder. Lewis still made a highlight reel hit and defensive motivating play. Dustin Keller still did not catch the ball. Keller was still hurt, but was able to play the next week.
  17. The Royals should want that. They shouldn't get it though. Teams should call their bluff. They aren't going to pay Greinke $13.5Mil/year and continue to pick in the top 7.
  18. My take on the hits discussion. I don't understand what all the fuss is about. All the hits in question this week, IMO, were and always have been illegal. You never could intentionally hit a player in the head, you never could lead with your helmet, and you never could launch yourself at an opposing defenseless player. Harrison, Merriweather, and Robinson each did at least 1 of these illegal things. The mess about flag football league, changing the way guys play is BS. Nobody is changing anything except the punishment for these hits. Not that I'm siding with the league, though, as I think this was a clear overreation on their part. Hits like the ones we saw last week, happen every week. The NFL can't all of a sudden decide the hits are too violent, especially when they aren't doing all they can for player safety in the first place.
  19. With Garza still not practicing, I think Webb is still going to be at RT. Hopefully, Garza is back after the BYE, Chris Williams goes back to LT, and Omiyale back to RT for the rest of the year. But that's just me speculating.
  20. Still tied for the best record in the NFC!
