    6'7 black guy gets to the QB. 'Sack by #99 Shea McClellin. Replay shows 98 clearly. No, that's Wootton, with McClellin in there. McClellin might have been in pass coverage he was so far away from the sack.

    Pierce Johnson over his last 5 starts: 26 2/3 IP, 19 hits, 1 ER, 25Ks. Does have 10 walks though. His only non-stellar outing at Daytona since his first 2, was in relief as a piggyback starter.

    Thru 5 shutout innings I think he's around 6 k's now. 6k/2bb/3h Exactly 6. All hits have been hard doubles though.

    I don't imagine Earl would get cut....but this one may take a while. Took 2 weeks to come back in December. This one could keep him out a couple games in the regular season.

    Doesn't seem like a very good team for a 12-team league. Looks like a 14-16 team league team. Sorry. How did you not end up with better keepers?

    Contrary to popular belief, Webb is much better than Louis. He was much better than Carimi, Williams, Scott, Pace and anyone else who has played OT for the Bears in the Cutler era. Also, Louis has been practicing, but all indications are he's not doing too well. Knee isn't 100% and he's on the 2nd team at RG, for a weak OL.

    Baez has received Sheffield comparisons before. That swing is why. That's one of those once in a blue moon type swings. Way ahead in the count, looking dead red, from knees to waist. His bat speed is so amazing, he coulda missed that time and still swung again and hit the ball.

    That was Britton on the botched snaps by a backup. Apparently Jeffery, Frye, Wootton, Paea and Zach Minter were the standouts in practice this morning. Mills was just brutal at RT. Those first 4 are probably the 4 guys that need to be good for this team to be a championship caliber team.....other than the guys we know will be good, obviously. Plus Long and Bushrod (unless you are including Bushrod in the "guys we know will be good" category). Yeah, I was counting Bushrod. Not necessarily, "know he's going to be good", but you know what you will get from him, and it will be good enough to win with. I actually don't think Long needs to be good. He just needs to not be the disaster that several Bears OGs before him have been. As of right now, that doesn't even look to be in question. I've seen/heard nothing so far that leads me to believe he could be worse than Spencer/Rachal. And with the expected improvement on the left side, that should be good enough for a team that has won a lot of games with worse the last 3 years.
