That was Britton on the botched snaps by a backup. Apparently Jeffery, Frye, Wootton, Paea and Zach Minter were the standouts in practice this morning. Mills was just brutal at RT. Those first 4 are probably the 4 guys that need to be good for this team to be a championship caliber team.....other than the guys we know will be good, obviously. Plus Long and Bushrod (unless you are including Bushrod in the "guys we know will be good" category). Yeah, I was counting Bushrod. Not necessarily, "know he's going to be good", but you know what you will get from him, and it will be good enough to win with. I actually don't think Long needs to be good. He just needs to not be the disaster that several Bears OGs before him have been. As of right now, that doesn't even look to be in question. I've seen/heard nothing so far that leads me to believe he could be worse than Spencer/Rachal. And with the expected improvement on the left side, that should be good enough for a team that has won a lot of games with worse the last 3 years.
