  1. I wouldn't even take a dump in either of these states.
  2. As a human being, yes. However, I don't admire Cobb as a person but as a baseball player, so that question is irrelevant. Do you actually think anyone believes this? Seriously, you have bent over backwards here to defend this guy when his actions were totally despicable. You are being completely dishonest here. I think anyone who has actually read his posts and not the IMB translation of his posts, would believe him. All he has said is that he was a horrible person that has had some things about him exaggerated. You think that someone who goes to ridiculous means (I mean, he downplayed stabbing a guy because he only used a pocketknife) to defend the actions of a violent racist doesn't think much of him as a person? If that were the case, he'd probably just accept was is obvious to everyone and move on. The very fact that he defends this scumbag is pretty telling to me.
  3. Really? I think that wins for me.

  5. This stat doesn't mean what you seem to think it means. He is 72nd all-time in unadjusted slugging percentage, though. He would have hit more home runs if he wanted to, but he didn't because they wouldn't have gone over the fence.

  7. Was he a jerk? More often than not. Did he have a mental illness? Probably. Was he a racist? Yes. You sure showed me here.
  8. That doesn't happen anymore, guy. That's exactly my point. I wouldn't pay ANYONE playing today that kind of money. I bet you'd pay zombie Ty Cobb that kinda scratch. ....perhaps...Cobb's best year v. A-Rod's best year. .420/.467/.620, 196 OPS+, 127rbi, 83sb >> .314/.422/.645, 177 OPS+, 156 rbi, 24 sb Why do you deify this old timey racist? If bizarre to say the least.
  9. I agree with the above for the most part, but I think that it's a real shame to see someone run out of a league for something as innocuous as pot. Ricky Williams can't play in the NFL ever again, but Leonard Little is making millions. Go figure.
  10. I couldn't disagree more. Do you really want to see the home ump eliminated in baseball? Maybe it's the conventionalist in me, but I'd absolutely hate to see the day when balls and strikes are called by some robot. The game is becoming less pure every year; adding "electronic verification", as you call it, would just make it worse. What means this?
  11. Pats are the better team. I think they are going to win this game handily.
  12. That is some hard hitting analysis right there. Personally, I'd rather have shallow analysis from JuCo failures.
  13. I watched the Florida Kentucky game yesterday was fantastic. Tim Tebow is very very good.
  14. Welker may have been my best fantasy pickup ever.
  15. And welcome back Brady.
  16. Looked like a sprained knee. He was rolling around a bit, but left the field under his own power. Didn't look too bad, imo.
  17. Ginn has been open a lot. They just can't hit him.
  18. The Dolphins have actually been able to move the ball between the 20's pretty well. Ginn has looked pretty good catching the ball, imo.
  19. He was shaken up on the interception return.
  20. Yea thanks Miami, could you at least try playing some kind of D? Nah, if Miami's not going to win I need some passing TD's from Brady. Oh dont worry you will get them. Its not like Belichek has any class and will stop passing the ball. Hell they were up 35-7 and still passing. I hate Belichek and Brady sooo much. Having Brady presents an interesting problem for me: I absolutely despise teams who run up the score, but the Pats doing it with Brady helps me. I get confused sometimes. :? This isn't pee-wee football. You wanna keep throwing the football? Put in the backups and it's all good. It's not a matter of this not being pee-wee football, it's a matter of class. Class? Aren't you supposed to score as many points as possible? They are just running their offense. These aren't kids, these are grown men who are professional athletes. If you want to keep them from scoring, stop them. I don't care about anybody's feelings, it's not about feeling good. But, if you've clearly won the game - as the Pats have - there's no reason to show up your opponents and risk injury to your own starters by looking to run the score up. Let me say this again, bolded this time since you apparently missed it the first time. You wanna keep throwing the football? Put in the backups and it's all good. Even if you don't care about respect and class, it's simply smart football not to risk a needless injury to Brady, Moss, Stallworth, etc. I didn't miss anything. You were the one who brought up class, not me. If you feel that keeping starters in because they might get hurt is risky and stupid, well that's a different thing all together. Crying about running up the score because it isn't "classy" is a little silly, when it comes to the NFL. I brought up class because I value class and respect in sports fairly highly. For those who don't feel class is relevant, the risk of injury should keep them from running up the score. For coaches like Belichick, Steve Spurrier, etc., neither matter much. We'll have to agree to disagree here. I understand the complaints regarding college, because they are kids and a lot of AD's set their teams up for blowouts to make a couple of bucks. In the NFL, though, I don't really have much of an issue with it. It doesn't really happen that often. I wouldn't even classify this as running up the score, because the scoring took place before halftime.
  21. No, I haven't. I've seen a lot of the Colts crying about the Patriots defensive backs over the years, but not much from Belichick. You seem like you're probably giving him the benefit of the doubt though. Where does your hatred of Brady stem from? Let me guess, he's really good?

This isn't pee-wee football. No its not. I cant wait for the day when Belichek has it happen to him so his crybaby ass will wine though. Keep padding those stats for Brady though its cool, sooner or later a middle linebacker will get a good shot on him. When has he ever cried about anything? And you might be waiting for a while. Actually cried? Never. He got really upset at the Colts for going for 2 with 5 minutes left up 19 in the 2005 game though. He called it classless and unnecessary (which I disagree with considering how good the NE offense was even back then, and the fact that the Colts had come back from 21 down with 4 minutes to play just 2 years before). He seems to have no problem running it up against worse teams though. I'm not even talking about today yet. I will only classify it as running it up if Brady is still in passing by the end of this quarter beginning of the 4th. He has shown at other games though that he does not mind rubbing it into other people, even though he hates it when people do it to him. I've never head about this, but I'll take your word for it. I still don't think Belichick is much of a whiner though.
