  1. Headbands? Give me a break. Skiles should be worrying about the product on the court, not fricken headbands.
  2. Laid eggs? They were outclassed. Their only other games were against second tier programs, so of course they looked better. Come on, man. Laid eggs? Yes, laid eggs. Quinn has thrown 5 INTs all year and 3 of them came against UM. That's a laid egg. Hell he didn't even have any against USC whose D is pretty damn good too. Rhema hasn't dropped passes all year until this game. Freeman looked like crap. USC outplayed ND but that doesn't mean ND played their best game. I give all sorts of credit to UM and USC for playing the way they did in those games, but they weren't responsible for Rhema's not holding onto the football today or for ND's offensive line crapping out in the UM game. The only consolation is that we likely didn't get beat bad enough to fall out of the BCS. Wait, the reason Quinn threw those interceptions was purely because of him laying an egg and not because of the UM defense ?(and the supposed best defensive line in the nation?) Yes, you can look really good against service acadamies, maybe only throw one or two picks. Congrats. USC and Michigan? More talented than ND. Maybe Weis can recruit very well, we'll soon see. Yeah, that great UM defense that gave up 503 yards to OSU. What an awesome defense. I agree. Let's take one game against the best team in the nation and evaluate Michigan's defense based on that individual performance.
  3. They shot 6-7 3 pointers and 63% at halftime. Hopefully that will balance out some. Only down 7 now. Missouri State held on for the victory.
  4. God Bless Alando Tucker.
  5. They shot 6-7 3 pointers and 63% at halftime. Hopefully that will balance out some. Only down 7 now.
  6. Option 3: Teeth.
  7. Animal that doesn't take dumps in your house > Animal that does take dumps in your house.
  8. Id like to mention that SD's secondary is awful.
  9. Can't a guy beat down a nerd without the man bringing him down?
  10. Parker is a no brainer. I would go with Addai.
  11. Who cares? It's don't matter if he "justifies" it or not as long as it doesn't hamstring the Cubs.
  12. And yet you know that this whole time he has an all-out plan to completely render the offense, defense and special teams useless. I still remember when he played Bledsoe in Buffalo and would drop everyone back into coverage and rush no one. Bledsoe would get so confused and end up throwing the ball up for grabs.
  13. Does he do this every week in his presser? This is the same exact thing Charlie Weis did when they played Michigan. He stole this 'run through' from Bill. I have no idea. Just saw it in the Boston Globe.
  14. He threw an early INT that lead to a TD. What?
  15. It's not that they picked others over him, it's the way they talked about him. Wanting to see more middle ground from him is just plain stupid. He's had plenty of middle ground games in his career. But why wouldn't you want great games. These guys are licking Romo's butt, and they are not crediting Grossman for anything. They flat out said the Bears don't need him to win, so he gets no credit. But the Jets need Pennington to win games for them, so he gets credit for the wins. They keep saying he was bad against the Jets, and don't even acknowledge that he had a great game vs NY. Not to mention he wasn't really "bad" against the Jets, but whatever.
  16. I heard the same thing, and did not perceive it as an attack on Grossman. The question was-if you could start a franchise with one of these QB's right now-Romo, Rivers, Palmer, Grossman, Big Ben, or Eli Manning-who would you pick? Golic's order-Palmer, Rivers, Big Ben, Grossman, than Eli last. Romo he said didn't qualify because we don't know enough about him yet, even though he's played very well in his 4 starts. When they talked about Grossman, they seemed to see him as a guy with great potential who has been up and down. All they said is they would like to see a middle ground from him: some games where he is neither great nor horrible (which I believe he has had 1 or 2). They basically though credited him for the Bears great season so far, and said that which Grossman shows up will be the key to how far they go in the playoffs. I couldn't disagree with the order they put those guys.
  17. I think the issue is that many of them said he was going to suck coming out of college. Now they are almost rooting for him to suck so they can be justified in saying so earlier. I listened to that part of Mike and Mike and I was upset that they didn't take into account who is around these QB's. Tony Romo is playing well, no doubt, but look what he is surrounded with: T.O. Terry Glenn and Jason Witten. What about Rivers? Gates, LT, McCardell. Now, I don't want to "dog" the Bears WR's and skill position players, but they aren't even close to being the caliber of the Chargers or the Cowboys.
  18. Read that post right when Deng lost the ball. I blame you. I accept whatever punishment your modship decides.
  19. I do love me some Kirk. Deng looks like he is going to break out this year.
  20. I also hate Jeter for absolutely no reason.
  21. Maybe she thinks the Cubs are paying him 136 million for just this year.
  22. No kidding. The more he strikes out, the less they cost. We should be thanking him for giving us such a great deal on strikeouts.
