Better call the ambulance now and set an appointment for midnight. I can probably make until morning sometime before requiring hospitalization. But by that time i will at least have forgotten this 3 game streak.

too bad whenever jones gets on base, he gets doubled off Well, he came up through the Twins system, and they teach guys how to play the game the right way. :roll: yep, thats why they have won a whole lot in the past 15 years Yep just 4 division title and a WS title. the world series was back in 91, the AL central wasant that great to begin with, its not like they had such great teams or they would have more WS rings

Or else he needs to bat cleanup - he's hitting better than Aram. Aram will end up hitting over .300, Jones wont I sure hope so but I have yet to see anything that gives me a lot of confidence that will happen. Last year? Or the Year before that? Or the year before that? Or 2 years before that? Ok my mistake I haven't seen anything this year. on may 1 of last year he was hitting .238, by the end of may he was at .267 and by the end of june he was over 300 I know he's a late starter but he really, really needs to get it going.

I agree - Aram is a major disapointment to me. I fully expected him to show a little leadership and step it up a little when DLee went down but have seen no signs of that. How long can you go with a cleanup hitter batting less than 200?

and the cubs couldn't have done that why? If they knew Barrett was hurt, they would just assume it was a decoy and ignore it at least until he faced a pitch. you don't think the brewers had it figured out? see abucks post above. Well, why did we all know it, why was it reported. I assumed this was because of Barrett answering questions/speaking out? he had an icepack on his hand and was asked why - what is he supposed to say? I seriously don't think this had much potential to affect the outcome of the game so why make a big deal of it? certainly starting neifi hurt the cubs chances to win more than barrett's honesty - maybe barrett should have agreed to read the book if dusty agreed to read bill james. Ohh......... obligatory Neifi reference.

A spectacle?? Baker was asked a question - he answered it. Baker is going to say some wacky things just like Zambrano is going to do some wacky things. I don't understand what all the hoopla is about everytime Baker says something a little goofy(ie. get the skunk out of the boat). nothing else to do. Seriously though, if it bothers you, just ignore it. trust me, what dusty says doesn't keep me up at night. Doesn't bother me a bit - doesn't keep me up at night. As a matter of fact I'm going to bed right now. :D
