Our hope doesn't like with Ramirez resigning. It could still be a long cold winter with him returning, and the team could still suck. Resigning Ramirez does not improve the team, and this team needs to be improved. They have to resign Ramirez, then still make major improvements. I agree we need to do much more than resigning Aram but I have little or no confidence that JH can do enough to make this team a contender without resigning him. That would leave him with the task of signing or trading for 2-3 impact bats and 2 impact pitchers. I don't see that happening.
