    What happens when Caleb eventually gets dinged up on a play and Bagent comes in and immediately leads the offense down the field? Obviously the answer is Caleb comes back as soon as he is ready, and justifiably so, but there's no doubt in my mind that Bagent is a better NFL QB at this point in time.

    This Nebraska QB is pretty good, but not nearly as good as the announcers think he is. The lead announcer (Tim Brando) actually said, "The only difference between Raiola and Mahomes is size. Raiola is bigger."

    Interesting quote from Counsell that was played on The Score after today's game It was part of the comments where Counsell was talking about how there is a big gap between the Brewers and the Cubs, but then he went on to say they need to be trying to build "90 win teams." Whether or not that was a veiled shot at the front office, it is clear that the Cubs have not been operating under that model. Jed built an 80-85 win team that would have needed absolutely everything to go right to get close to 90 wins.

    I know I'm just setting myself up for disappointment, but I'm excited for the Illinois/Nebraska game tonight. It's all going to come crashing down sooner or later, but maybe we can continue the illusion of Illinois being a contender for one more week.
