    hope he gets healthy and stays healthy but I didn't see him having a future with the Cubs.

    I don't mind erstad at all. If he is healthy he is a hell of a player. He just has that football mentality and goes balls out on every play and ends up getting hurt. To be honest, I wouldn't have minded him on the Cubs at all.

    I prefer one of the weekend games of the home opener series (gotta get the magnet schedule), and have had no problem getting them the last three years either. You gotta be commited to the VWR though. I take the day off or work and enlist an army of friends. any secrets for the vwr this year? My mom and brother are planning a trip so I'm sure I will have to help them try to get tickets to the Braves series.

    I agree if they can do it for one year and not very much money. Could use his bat off the bench, and fill in if needed in the outfield. But not too much in the outfield please lol.

    I would love to lock up Zambrano before the season starts. Make it happen Hendry.

    I'd like to see Sammy back in the big leagues. He could help the Rangers out I'm sure if he will accept a low paying contract.

    If we don't get rid of Jones, I'm not all that upset. I think he will be ok in CF. The one thing that worries be though is his arm, damn he can't throw a ball to save his life. Who knows, we could see alot of Pagan in CF also.

    I'm very excited for this season. I keep updating my wife how many days until spring training starts. I think she is already getting annoyed haha.

    Wow, looking at that stat really suprises me. I guess I have really never thought about it though. That is pretty bad for a team lol. From management all the way to the players. Maybe that is why we have sucked for so long haha. This is the year though!

    I love my DirecTV. I had a installer not bring the right dish when I was upgraded 4-5 months ago to the new HD locals. I called and they gave me some free programming. THe next day they forgot some clamps so I called again and really complained. I then got over $400 worth the free programming and they came and installed the next day. It didn't bother me since we still had our original dish up and I could watch everything I wanted with it. I love extra innings, and plan on getting it again this year. Hopefully that price stays under $200 though.

    Hawk was a hell of a player but I think it will be hard for him to get into the HOF. Hope I'm wrong though.

    Nice deal for the halos. 1 year deal 6.5 mil sounds about right for him.

    I don't mind it if Floyd knows he is a bench player and will fill in when needed out in the field. Don't platoon with Murton please.

    He is a pretty good player, and I wouldn't mind him with the Cubbies. I'd give up Marshall and maybe a minor leaguer for him.
