    I looked into the eyes of the list of the most overrated bands in rock history and I saw three letters: a D, an M, and a B. You might not like the Pumpkins, but to call them the most overrated ever is ridiculous. I agree - the first three albums are really, really good, but I'd still like to punch him in the face.

    I just can't see that happening. Someone will offer him a deal. FWIW, everyday I hear stories about what free agents the Mets and Yankees are after, two teams in need of bullpen help, and Wood's name never comes up. Strange. I wonder why? Maybe teams are worried about his long term health. I'd think one of these two teams would give him a shot.

    Why would you say that? Peavy has 5 years and $81M left on his deal (assuming he would insist on the option year being guaranteed to waive the NTC), and Hendry's seemingly working his butt off to try and trade for him. Burnett is reportedly looking for a 5-year deal in the $80M range (and so far the hangup seems to be that nobody's willing to go 5 years). Sounds to me like if Hendry would be willing to give Burnett the same contract Peavy's already got, then he'd probably have himself a deal. Assuming Burnett equates to Peavy talent wise.
