  1. YAHOOO!!! Really nice start by Rusch. Just when you wanna give up on him...
  2. I think he's finally starting to hit a little bit in ST eh?
  3. Rusch seems to be crusing a bit now. Good to see it. How's he looking Bruce? Actually pretty good. He's working fast and his command has picked up. That's good to see. That's when he pitches his best when he works quickly.

  5. ARAM is looking great this spring. He's hitting everything...
  6. 1-0 Seattle. Good job in the first Rusch.
  7. Are you serious? You are actually giving props for a warning track flyout.
  8. The game was called due to rain. 4-4 tie.
  9. Bring in Lee! Walker displaying his fine defense...
  10. When are we going to see Dempster again? I know he was working with LR but he's due for an apperence...
  11. Neifi or Hairston would've had that one! WALKER IS AT 1B PEOPLE!!! That explains the double then!! But, still, Neifi or Hairston wouldn't have had that one because neither of them play 1B. Sorry DLEE would've had that one. It's a joke man! Relax...
  12. Sure why not. Dusty seems to like him and he has shown good control and he's gotten people out.

  15. Too bad the Minors aren't the Major League. Doesn't really matter what he does in AA or AAA what counts is what he does vs. major league hitters. He had a golden opportunity to crack the Cubs staff this year and he hasn't shown he can handle the Majors yet. It's all about control... he pitched well yesterday He still gave up 3 walks and he didn't start yesterday. Time he came in he was facing minor league hitting.

  17. So crappy he won 18 games last year while posting a sub-4.00 ERA on a .500 ballclub. I know win totals are not reflective of pure talent, but the bar is pretty high when an above average pitcher is considered crappy. Capuano is 27. Just finished his 1st full season. He's a pretty darn good pitcher. He's doesn't overwhelm, but there's plenty of room for him to improve on what was an above average season. I agree. He did win 18 games for a .500 team. Not bad at all. I'll take that any year.
  18. Brewers make a late change, subbing Nelson Cruz in LF for El Caballo. Thanks Bruuuccce!
  19. Looks like Guz is rolling a bit here. This is great to see. How's he look Bruce?
  20. Somebody has to want to be in this rotation. Right now it's Zambrano, Maddux and nobody is stepping up. Angel usually has better control. Completely agree. Hill, Guzman; seems like neither is aggressively going after it. Maybe trying to be too perfect, maybe a little off stuff-wise. Either way one of these two is likely to end up in the rotation for April. I really hope it's not Hill.
  21. That's the Guzman we know. Good 2nd inning. Maybe getting the first inning rust off.
  22. Way too many walks. Disappointing first inning...
  23. 4-2 Cubs now in the bottom of the first. Seems like Guzman got roughed up a bit. Will one of these guys step up or what?
