    Is it all the organization's fault? YOu can definitely make a case for it or did you forget how bad he was abused in 2003? Crazy pitch counts and letting him go out there and pitch when he hurt his arm running the basepaths? Yeah, you can make a case. How's Kerry Wood doing these days? I'm not buying the Giles collision as some kind of major injury. He went on the DL, came back and proceeded to go 10-1 with an ERA below 2.00. If he was hurt, he was on some serious medicine to mask it. mAybe he needs to go back on it. Which is my point. Prior was never hurt because of use in 2003. All his injuires were due to freakish injuries or non-arm releated...

Wood was hurt and had surgery. Prior was hurt because of crazy accidents line drive of the elbow, Achillie's Heal, Running into Giles etc...Plus he's never had any kind of surgery. I mean you can make a case if he blew out his shoulder or elbow but he hasn't...

    He'll end up being a Cub. I'm sure the Cubs will tack on 2 more years at a higher salary. They won't lose ARAM unless they have a killer backup plan and you know they don't...

    It's nothing new. Baker's clubhouse has been out of control since day 1 of his reign. I think it's classless and embarrasing. Espically for a player like Ohman to be acting like a idiot. Earth to Ohman, start acting like a pro and maybe you'll start playing like one!

    I think it's a Dusty startegy. Give him X amount of games to prove himself and then he won't see the light of day after that. If Baker lets Cedeno start at 2nd for the rest of the year I'll be shocked and apoligize to the Baker man in person. I do think that having Cedeno at second is a waste and that it makes 3 bad bats in the lineup....maybe I should say 3 very limited bats in the lineup. If you mean start the rest of the year as any starts without a few off days, I would say yes. I think Cedeno will be sat down 4-5 games the rest of the way, but I think he'll be there the rest of the time. Baker has a pretty long leash on him-didn't even replace him that much when he was doing terribly in July. I personally doubt we will see Cedeno as the starting 2b next season, but I guess we will have to wait and see how it all unfolds. Actually Dusty has been very patient with Cedeno this year. He let him ride out his slumps and fielding blumders.

    Why do you hate them? I could tell you why he hates the White Sox. He had some anti-White Sox blog last year. He used to post there under a different name, but he says all the same things. One reason was that there was some Sox fan at his high school (New Trier) that he hated and the other was that he used to post on southsiders.net, which is a small-time White Sox message board. I guess they banned him and it was the mortal wound of his life because after that he went on a real rampage, trolling all the Sox message boards, kicking his blog into overtime, trolling non-White Sox boards with anti-White Sox messages, encouraging people to spam and troll the southsiders.net board, etc. He'd report his anti-White Sox activities on his anti-Sox blog (which is gone now). A lot of it was funny to read, particularly his defense of his activities (White Sox fans are bad because they hate the Cubs obsessively, so he hates the White Sox obsessively)and his theory that MLB is conspiring to keep the Cubs from ever winning the World Series. Sounds like the makings of a "After-school Special" on ABC...

    No way. Liriano didn't get dusty'd. He was averaging 93.5 pitches/game started. Which goes to show you there is no way to fully protect a pitcher... so you should just have them throw 150 pitches per start because they could end up getting hurt anyway. Where in my post did I say that?

    Freudian? :D Anyway, I went to law school with a girl who said she had a thing going with a former Sox reliever whose name I shant mention here. She said he went so far as to introduce her to his wife and his kids at the park one night. He told her that this is a very normal thing for ballplayers and that most wives get it. I stood there in utter disbelief. Once again I wish I was a MLB player...Man, what a life!
