The decision to give Rami the day off had already been made prior to yesterday's game. It's not like there's some rule that says you have to stick by such decisions. You have to adapt to what else is going on. I agree 100%. Screw the future health of our all star third baseman. Todays game will decide the penant. Or you could wait 1-2 days so Floyd gets back and we're no longer facing one of the best starters in the NL. Floyd's playing today...
Yep! ESPN 1000 said (per a friend) that he started serving it today... No, ESPN 1000 said that if the injury is severe enough, he will then drop the suspension. He has not dropped it yet. Ah...Thanks. Never trusted that idiot anyways...
Last nights win was on me guys! I wore my bad luck Cub shirt. Everytime I've worn this shirt they've lost. I was trying to prove I wan't supersuperstitious...Did't work! I tore it up and threw it in the trash...Let the gods show the shirt is no more, and bless the Cubs

For the last four weeks, they've been thrilled with who has been behind the plate. Which is why I'm concerned about bringing in a catcher who's defensive ability isn't what it used to be. Good point and one worth keeping an eye on. The Oakland staff seemed to like him quite a bit.
