  1. Pat and Ron says it was a great pitch, but both agreed it was a bit outside. Lanny & The Rock both thought he caught a break! :-)
  2. You're about to see why Chris Duffy sits against Leftys
  3. And Castillo interupts his quest for the Mendoza line long enough to help us out!
  4. Not really. Voglesong? Yes. Everyone else has, for the most part, been pitching pretty well. Especially as of late.
  5. Did anyone else think that was outta there for a few seconds? :( I did!
  6. FWIW, the Buc announcers speculated the ump was thinking that because he fielded the ball in the basepath, Wilson had to go around him. They looked up the rule here and justified this. He had already fielded it and was going to apply the tag, therefore, he was out. I hope we beat up on Santos next inning He was heading wide before he fielded it. Check the replay again. Still, the call could have gone either way. *Cough*HOMER*Cough* :D Also, if Aram's effort at the tag wasn't so lazy, the ump would have called him out. Still, as someone else pointed out (I forget who), you ALWAYS get the lead runner.

  8. Look. At least we don't have Mack-O-Whack anymore.

  11. Jack Wilson is on his way to another 200 hit season. I hope Bay hits one out. He's due. Oh, he's also on my fantasy team.
  12. It's a long flight to Phoenix from Seattle - I know, I just took one. So I can imagine wanting to get on the plane out of Chicago ASAP. :-) Still, just a few more runs, pls, guys? Uh, the Cubs play the Pirates at Wrigley tomorrow afternoon before leaving for Phoenix. C'mon Kat, have some more of that Seattle Brew! :-)
  13. Yeah!!! This time through the rotation, everyone had a quality start! Except Ollie.
  14. Hey we could have McClouth leading off.  McLouth is getting screwed. He's a rookie, and only starts against lefties. That just ain't fair to him. I wish they'd put Sanchez in center.
  15. Wow. We're still in the game. We're one inning away from Santo's first quality start of the year.
  16. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's on my fantasy team.
  17. At least if the Pirates did that in Pitt there would have only been 20 fans there to see it ... Nonsense. We're getting a lot of fans these days. Remember, we have the All-Star game, that means that season tickets were very good this year. And, PNC Park is wonderful. People go just because of it. If we were still at 3 rivers cookie cutter, than, yeah, 20 people only.
  18. BASES LOADED, NOBODY OUT, SANTOS ON THE MOUND AND YOU GUYS DON'T SCORE ON US? WHY, YOU'RE ALMOST AS PATHETIC AS WE ARE! Almost, that is.
  19. DOUBLE PLAY!!!!!! NO RUN!!!! WOW. TWO RUNNING GAFFES ON ONE FLY BALL!
