    In almost every other organization, heads would be rolling. imagine if this were the yankees there is a reason htey have 26 rings and we dont have one in 100 years Yes, 200 million reasons. Yes, I'm sure they have always had a payroll of 200mil. :roll: when didn't their payroll not dwarf the rest of the league?? They haven't won a championship since their payroll surpassed 100 million.

    I'm not Bruce, but at last report he was playing catch while suffering through a horrible case of the sniffles and had a touch of a tummy ache! He had Scott Eyre syndrome. He couldn't pitch b/c he might mess himself.

    I agree that Chip was brutal. My friend ,who is a Braves fan, used to make fun of me b/c Chip was the Cubs announcer. I loved getting to tell him that Chip was going to the Braves. I also agree with those that say Stone was overrated. I would take Len and Bob over Chip/Stone any day.

    To the best of my knowledge, SweetPete is still up since he technically didn't lose. He was unable to be on last night and I started the game thread. When the Cubs lose (should be soon), my guess is that you'd make your start. Bravo on not being able to read, as it wouldn't have been your turn anyways... I was going off the fact that, not only did I not start the last thread, but I was still listed as starter nearly 3 hours after the game ended, and still am. Bravo on being an a-hole. Forgive me for making a mistake. I see now that you didn't start the last gamethread and I'm not next anyways. God forbid I ever make such a crucial error again.

    I was about to ask about this. Since we lost, the on-deck user should get the thread, eh? That's what I thought, but I never got a p.m. telling me it was my turn. I started graveyards lastnight and I get up and there is already a gamethread for tomorrow. I've gotta leave for work now, but I'm starting a thread tomorrow whether they win or lose.

    what'd he say? To paraphase: Dusty needs to stay so he can put in his system. You can't judge the job he's done because of all the injuries. Thats...awful. THATS BEYOND AWFUL that guy should have his head z-rayed.

    Agreed. However, Capuano is the Brewers' Ace so it won't be easy. ummmmmmmmm.........Ben Sheets. Sheets isn't even active. Capuano is a good pitcher. Wrong. Yeah, I know, as soon as I typed it but that doesn't make him the Ace. Capuano has been their most consistent starter. Capuano is a very good pitcher. I agree with that. I don't think he can be a dominant as Sheets is when he is 100% though.
