    Sorry but don't you mean stupid Cub fans? You saw the number of votes on that date and compared to the first day, that made it stand out to be looked at more closely. The rule was put into place to prevent just what happened on the second day of voting...someone winning by cheating. And I am not referring to Vance nor Elinore but another contestant that day. Vance, I think you should have won since you were the best one that day and it stinks that you didn't. Wow! That's definitely interesting. I bet it was Ed.

    and my point was less about comparing them statistically and more about people clamoring over a guy who is maybe 5th or 6th best on his own team. latent racism? who knows, but there is no reason at all that Theriot should be selling jerseys at such a high rate when he really is just sort of okay. he doesn't even really have much personality Racism? Give me a break. Zambrano and Lee are the most popular players with Sosa and Banks being the most popular in team history. And the average fan likes hustle and things that are catchy, like Theriot's nickname and mustache. I'm sure once Pie starts producing a little bit more he'll be more popular. Of course what you said makes sense, but why think about that when it's so much easier to say it's racism?

    Uh, who is going to testify to sealed grand jury testimony? Pretty much what I'm going to say. If I'm Barry, I start going after people. Well, couldn't Schilling just say he testified that he unknowingly took roids. Then it would be up to Bonds to prove that he didn't say that. I don't know...it's all stupid.
