  1. Gammons said on the 5/6 o'clock sportscenter that he would be traded probably tomorrow.
  2. I would think if we won tonight, we'll throw a joke lineup out there tomorrow afternoon.
  3. Do you think they'll take Lee for Pujols?
  4. I'll pass on Saito. 2 weeks ago.. Dodgers placed RHP Takashi Saito on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to July 13, with a sprained ligament in his right elbow. Saito is expected to miss at least six weeks with an injury that could bring an end to his career as the Dodgers' closer. Jonathan Broxton will try to fill his shoes.
  5. If there was ever a time...this would be it. I hope so. I don't mind the Brewers being the race (they have a pretty damn good team), but the Cardinals team with only Pujols playing over their heads. Yuck.
  6. I'm not too worried. Marmol is more than capable of closing.
  7. We can only hope the Cardinals die out after this series.
  8. Soriano's 1-3 tonight. I'm sure someone has already said though.
  9. Can we trade Lee to the Cards for Pujols? And Ramirez to the Yankees for A-Rod? :D
  10. Lineups: Theriot SS Fukudome RF Lee 1b Ramirez 3b Edmonds CF DeRosa LF Soto C Fontenot 2b Marquis P D-Backs Drew SS Jackson LF Hudson 2b Tracy 1b Reynolds 3b Montero C Young CF Romero RF Petit P
  11. I'd take a flier on Grudz if they would take Cedeno back.
  12. Weeks 2-rbi double.. Brewers 5, Giants 4.
  13. Again, Giants are threatening in the 2nd. But come up empty.
  14. 1-0 Brewers on RBI Double by Sheets.
  15. Giants also threatening in the first.
  16. What are the odds the Padres get another 6-2 lead or so, and blow it away?
  17. Insane as in outrageous? Or insane as good? Both, although I get the feeling he is doing it the same way that Clemens and Bonds were. No way. :yahoo: of course, you shouldn't question a tony larussa-led ballclub. At one time, he did coach McGwire and Canseco when they were pumped up. At this point I think everyone managed a few juiceheads. I was going more on the published reports that surfaced last year. HGH?
  18. Because he's fast. Duh.

  21. Some kind of ceremonies.
  22. Ned is going to run him and CC hard because he knows that they're not coming back.
  23. wellemeyer is throwing bp out there, when he actually finds the strikezone. 2-0 Padres. Maybe he's coming back to his Cub Days. :D
  24. Magic Pixie Dust wearing off on Welly. ;)
