    As a Phil Hughes owner all I can say is...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I don't think this spells the end for Hughes' stay in the rotation. I think they're gonna end up with Clemens, Pettitte, Wang, Mussina, and Hughes. It's not like any other pitcher in the rotation is forcing the issue.

    This lineup is pathetic. Even if Murt and Floyd are unavailable, there are better ways to fill out the lineup card for today. If we move Theriot back to SS and DeRosa back to 2B, we can add an outfielder in place of Izturis. Pie would be an immediate upgrade or we could even slide Daryle Ward into RF and get him a start. Izturis should never be in the game unless he's a 9th inning defensive replacement.

    He probably just does it in the good ole Earl Weaver fashion. When it looks like one of your guys is going to argue and get tossed, do it for him so that he can stay in the game.

    Ok... there has been a real flurry of movement across the league the last few days... and I was right in the thick of it. This is my team as it stands now. C - Ramon Hernandez 1B - Albert Pujols 2B - BJ Upton 3B - Alex Rodriguez SS - Jhonny Peralta LF - Adam Dunn CF - Carlos Beltran RF - Billy Butler UTIL - Travis Hafner SP - Rich Hill SP - Matt Cain SP - Cole Hamels P - Chien-Ming Wang P - Tim Lincecum RP - J.J. Putz Bench - Felix Hernandez Bench - Roger Clemens DL - Phil Hughes I'm really not sure if my team is better or not, but I do know that my prospects for next year are fantastic. Everybody gets four keepers, and I sincerely doubt anybody tops Pujols, ARod, Beltran, and Hafner.

    The fact of the matter is that if you are smarter than the rest of the people in your league, you will get railroaded by everybody simply because they will all have some of their best weeks of the season against you.
