  1. My thoughts exactly.
  2. Colvin's average is .251 now.
  3. Who cares? It's just the batting order... I'm more concerned with who plays in his absence.
  4. That ball was absolutely crushed.
  5. That was a terrible call.
  6. Looks like I made a mistake before... That Johnson - Edmonds platoon has been pretty productive. Aramis Ramirez - 2.41 Carlos Marmol - 2.25 Ryan Dempster - 2.01 (2.76 Pitching, -0.75 Batting) Carlos Zambrano - 1.93 (1.41 Pitching, 0.52 Batting) Jim Edmonds - 1.47 Alfonso Soriano - 1.45 Derrek Lee - 1.34 Kosuke Fukudome - 1.08 Mark DeRosa - 0.93 Ted Lilly - 0.74 Mike Fontenot - 0.68 Rich Harden - 0.67 Reed Johnson - 0.66
  7. Rob (Bloomington, IL): Ryan Flaherty already has 14 errors at SS. Is he a 2B or a 3B down the line? Kevin Goldstein: I like Ryan Flaherty quite a bit, but if he had two errors I'd still tell you he's a second baseman in the end. (Isn't that our Rob?) You don't own me! Nobody owns me!
  8. WPA: 1. Ramirez 2. Dempster 3. Zambrano 4. Edmonds 5. Soriano
  9. My favorite is still Nolan Ryan going 8-16 in 1987 despite his league-leading 2.76 ERA.
  10. I don't believe the 40-man is full at present. It will be once Guzman completes his rehab.
  11. 1. Zambrano 2. Dempster 3. Ramirez 4. Soto 5. Soriano
  12. All that's happened is that he's been placed on waivers... almost every player from every team will have been put on waivers at some point by the end of this month... including guys like DLee, Aramis, and Z. This means nothing.
  13. Vance needs his Brenly updates. Vitters extends the hit streak to 18 games.
  14. My dad bought six front row tickets to today's game... My whole family and I will be watching the game from behind the netting just to the 3rd base side of home plate. Gotta love it.
  15. He was listed in the lineup on milb.com until the middle of the 1st inning.
  16. Power arm with delivery and/or consistency issues who may figure it out...that's a Hendry-era pitching prospect for you. Meh... sometimes those guys turn into Jose Ceda. I'm not too bummed with the return.
  17. Backe's ERA coming into today was 4.72 It is now 5.35
  18. http://www.seatdata.com That what you are looking for? Indeed. Cheers!
  19. Does anybody in here know the address of that website where you can see the view from different sections of the ballpark? My dad is looking at the CBOE tickets for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, but we can't figure out if section 16 is next to section 19 down on the front row... or 19 and 22... or 22 and 25. It just seems odd that no tickets at all are listed in the front row for section 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, and 24...
  20. I just realized I actually watched ESPN through the whole delay... I feel dirty.
  21. I love seeing Vitters starting to flash some power.
  22. Joba Chamberlain leaving the field with a shoulder injury of some sort.
  23. Clearly Fielder simply saw Parra as a 6ft hot dog and could not hold back any longer. http://www.theonion.com/content/files/images/Burger-Hotdog-3-R.jpg haha. that's great. any video yet? 2-week ban for you. Bear vs. hotdog is topical, no?
  24. Clearly Fielder simply saw Parra as a 6ft hot dog and could not hold back any longer. http://www.theonion.com/content/files/images/Burger-Hotdog-3-R.jpg haha. that's great. any video yet?
  25. In other news... things in Baltimore have gotten so bad that the Orioles are calling up former top Cub farmhand Luis Montanez. http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/M/Luis-Montanez.shtml
