  1. You mean the players mocked to be drafted, or which teams own which picks for 2023? I meant the order that teams pick.
  2. Is there a current list of the top 12 draft picks or so for 2023. I haven't seen one posted anywhere.
  3. Can't imagine Houston would give up 2 and 12, maybe 2, 33, and a 2024 2nd? The Seattle deal for 2 seems like a decent chance, but is Seattle going to go after a QB or give Geno Smith a shot with 2 additional 1st rounders added to the roster? Houston and Indy will be bad next year. Seattle won't be as bad. Draft position in 2024 is of utmost importance as well, IMO.
  4. I really miss Jan 1 being the ultimate college football day. Would have been a problem this year with NFL on the 1st, but I've missed a lot of Monday night championship games. Actually fell asleep to this one after a hard day of partying all day Sunday.
  5. Colts QB's got sacked 60 times this year. Not as much as Bears QB's, but add a rookie QB, some veteran has been (maybe still Foles) and lose some more of that strong defense and the Bears could be looking at a top 3 pick in 2024. I'd be very interested in what the Colts have to offer. A top WR with their first pick in 2024 is just what the doctor ordered for this team.
  6. I was just reading that Matt Ryan has another year on his contract that will guarantee once he gets cut. That might take the Colts out of the running for Garappalo or any other expensive free agent QB's.
  7. and then we draft marvin harrison jr with their pick lmao This is quite realistic. The Colts will be in rebuild mode and will be a bottom feeder next year. I wanna say their offensive line was hideous, which explains why they went through so many QB's this year. I'm all in on a trade with the Colts, assuming it pays well enough. And I'd be especially cool if they traded down with the Texans along the way. Not sure you get the same prize from the Colts by letting the Texans have first pick of the QB's, but you still end up with Anderson if they no longer wish to do business. They'd still have to worry that someone will jump to the 3rd pick ahead of them. I don't see Detroit drafting a QB. Goff has been mistake free and he's running their offense quite well. They can use their picks to strengthen their roster. For once in a blue moon, they are the team to beat in the NFC North next year. Hopefully, the Bears make it a two team race.
  8. I'm out at 4th place. Damn! I probably squeak in if I stay with Harris and Kirk. They both got touchdowns. It was fun, but happy the Bears got first pick in the draft.
  9. Well, screw 'em Lovie. Go out on a high note and crush the Colts today!
  10. I'm locking in Trevor Lawrence, Kenneth Walker and DeVonta Smith
  11. I would consider Davanta over Kirk for anti-correlation reasons. I know you are considering what WR will be available for the final week, but you have to get there first. In the final week, because you are going to be lower on talent, you will probably switch to wanting correlation and Purdy (with Aiyuk) might be your only option at QB. It's close either way. But I'd definitely play Walker over Harris. It's good info. I'll definitely consider it. Going with Lawrence is me making the statement that I need to get to the playoffs to even have a chance the rest of the way. I probably won't commit to anyone until Saturday when I can read up on who is playing, who is expected to do well against their opponent and who is or isn't handcuffed at their position. I'm hosting a football party on Sunday, so it would be nice to not have all of my guys going at the same time on Sunday at noon. Actually, if I switched to Walker and Smith, I wouldn't have anyone playing at noon, so that might work. I do like the Purdy/Aiyuk idea. There's also the possibility of Garrapalo coming back, or Minshew having to sub back in because Hurts came back too early and hurt himself again. So I do like the idea of a strong line up to get me to the next week and then worry about the next week when I actually have to.
  12. Looking over the final 4 team available rosters, I put myself in probably in 3rd place as far as talent still available, but I just can't finish in last place in any of these last 3 weeks. Team A QB- Geno Smith, Daniel Jones, Lawrence, Mac Jones, Purdy, Huntley RB- Pollard, J. Williams, A. Jones, Harris, Stevenson, Elliott, Walker, McKinnon WR- D. Smith, Kirk, Evans, Lockett, Aiyuk, Higgins, Watson, Cooper, Moore Team B QB- M. Jones, Purdy, Huntley, Watson RB- Pollard, J. Williams, A. Jones, Harris, Elliott, Fournette, McKinnon WR- Waddle, Cooper, D. Smith, Evans, Aiyuk, Watson, McLaurin, Moore Team C QB- Burrow, Geno, Cousins, Purdy, M. Jones RB- Sanders, J. Williams, Etienne, Elliott, Walker, Conner, McKinnon WR- Kelce, AJ Brown, Cooper, D. Smith, Evans, Aiyuk, Kirk, McLaurin, Godwin Team D QB- J. Allen, Rodgers, Jackson, M. Jones, Purdy RB- Sanders, J. Williams, Etienne, Mixon, Walker, Fournette WR- Cooper, D. Smith, Evans, Lockett, Aiyuk, Higgins, Kirk, Metcalf There are other players available to each of these teams, but these are mostly top scorers or playoff likely teams. Team C and Team D are the strongest. Mine is Team A. I might have even missed listing a player or two that might be impactful here or there as I threw this together rather quickly. Team B is hurting real bad for playoff QB's. Oddly, no team has used Davanta Smith. As of now, my line up is set with Lawrence, Najee Harris, and Christian Kirk for this week. Might still make changes, but I feel like that line up has a good chance of getting me to the first week of playoffs. Sure would be nice if they paid top 3 or 4 instead of just one.
  13. The Bears can afford the OLIne talent and the star receiver this offseason. The question is where will they find the star receiver.
  14. Isn't Lovie going to want to win this game? How secure is his job? They didn't have to try so hard in the game they won a few weeks ago. I just feel like Lovie will be trying hard to end the season on a positive note.
  15. The trade with Indy is the ideal situation that I'm hoping the Bears can pull off. Basically trade down while still getting the arguably best player in the draft. Looking over the entirety of his mock, I'd say that's an incredible amount of moving parts, but it's the one thing we can expect to see this offseason. Will Poles hit on all of his moves? Probably not. But he has the capability to build a playoff team this offseason.
  16. The game reset for this week and the guy who went with Allen, Etienne and Jefferson this week is out. Etiienne was his only early Sunday guy and he ran for over 100 yards, 30 receiving yards and a touchdown. He must be losing his mind right now.
  17. In my King Of The mountain, one guy still had Allen, Mahomes, Henry, Jefferson and Kelce among others. I commented here that I wondered how he made it this far without all those guys. Well, he went with Jefferson and Allen this week. He’s currently in last place since Jefferson only had one catch. Allen was going to get him above the cut line with a full game. Now they are talking about playing it out I. Another day. Interesting.
  18. What was the final decision? Goff/Monty/Allen? I went with Goff, Robinson Jr. and Keenan Allen. I made it to the final 4.
  19. WIth the Hopkins risk of not playing, and not knowing much of anything about Blough, I'm going with Keenan Allen at WR now. Reserving the right to change my mind about RB and WR up and until game time.
  20. How is a team assembled in this format? And how many play?
  21. Not to mess you up further, but I got two updates this afternoon. Hopkins is dealing with a knee issue, and McCoy has concussion symptoms so it will be David Blough starting this week for the Cardinals. Thanks for the heads up. Wonder what happened to MCSorley? He was terrible for his receivers, so maybe Blougb will be better if Hopkins can go.
  22. I'm switching my WR from Jerry Jeudy to Deandre Hopkins. Hopkins has a tough matchup next week, so if I'm going to be able to use him, it will be this week. Colt McCoy should be back, and he seemed to enjoy targeting Hopkins. So, I'm now set with Goff, Montgomery and Hopkins. I may switch out Montgomery for Stevenson if Harris doesn't suit up.
  23. Damien Harris could cut into Stevenson's playing time as he could be back. He's still listed as questionable, but he has logged some practices. Not saying that's a deal breaker, but bears monitoring.
  24. I keep going back and forth on whether to draft Andersen and increase the odds of having that one defensive player to build around. He could be that K Mack or Donald type player on defense who can take over which is hard to find defensively. I feel like have a bunch of good pass rushers is a reasonable solution and this team has so many holes that adding an extra first/early second round pick this year and next would be a much greater benefit than one great DE, even if that is a nice thing to have. If there weren't so many holes and a shortage of FAs to sign at some of the key spots I might feel differently, but it really is starting to feel like a lot of the impact is going to have to come through the draft. Yeah. How much better is Anderson than Myles Murphy and the draft picks accumulated from trading down a small handful of spots?
  25. Lions just have too many weapons on offense for the Bears to win this one. I don't hate the Lions and I think Campbell is working out for them and I wouldn't mind seeing them back their way into the playoffs. Their fans deserve that more than any other fans, IMO. They have two first round draft picks this year and they don't really have any high dollar guys right now to handicap even more upgrades this offseason. Bears and Lions are about to flip the script in the NFC North for the next several years. Yay! So, yeah, I may have to start hating on the Lions sooner rather than later. But I expect that rivalry to heat up and have some meaning going forward.
