When it comes to Gaga, to me anyway, it's all about making sure he's playing first team football by 2025. As long as he's an established starter by the time we start building up to the World Cup, I'm happy. Obviously we want his talent maximized between now and then, but I'm ok with whatever decisions they make, as long as he can get his act together by the time we are hosting the World Cup. Courtois will still be well in his prime in 2025, so I'm 99% certain Madrid will not be the place to accomplish that, but god knows I'd have a hard time turning them down if I were in his shoes. It would be ironic good news/bad news for US fans if he goes to Madrid. Good news is that our three keepers play at City, Arsenal, and Madrid. Bad news, they're all 2nd or 3rd string.
Way too much smoke on this one to not be real. I don't know if Tottenham values him that high, but he's obviously on Conte's list.
