Yeah, it's so boring that the HEAVY favorite who has lost at home like 1 time in the last millions years is about to be eliminated at home to a team that hasn't been able to live up to expectations in the Champions League for almost a decade. UGGGGGHHHH SO BORING!

Chelsea have dominated the top teams this year. If they don't win, it's a reflection on their professionalism and Mourinho's ability to get his team up for teams like Sunderland.

Sporting are a really, really solid team; its hard to call favorites so early, but they are certainly one of the top 4 sides in the league, I think. I don't know that they'll win Supporters Shield if only because they'll be without Besler and Zusi for a month, but MLS Cup wise, they're in the mix. The organization post-rebrand is amazing and Sporting Park is a great, great atmosphere. One thing that I will say is that Peter Vermes is a little too in love with his hard working hacks, and doesn't always let the attacking players run wild as much as I would if I were him. Thanks! Looked up Supporters Shield. Like the President's Trophy. Got it. They're very skilled, but not as skilled as the elite offensive teams and they're also extremely physical. The Blues would be a good hockey comparison.

Obviously I missed that Raheem Sterling story. Have fun with your dream season, though. Wasn't trying to act like Liverpool are any different than every pro sports team. That is exactly my point, actually. A lot of romanticism about this team out there right now. Not from you, just the media in general.

Before we canonize Stevie G for crying after a big W, just a reminder that he is a total piece of garbage who beats people up because they don't like his Phil Collins jukebox game at the bar. John Henry is a great owner, Brendan Rogers might be a great manager, Raheem Sterling is a blast, Dan Sturridge seems cool and works hard on his game and competes like a mf'er but between the thug fan factions, Luis Suarez and Stevie G, there's still a ton to hate about this club.

I love on the second Dempsey goal where he hustles to pick up the ball for a quick restart, Weber punches it over the goal and Deuce laughs. Dempsey is chippy and people seem to forget that when he's slapping nut sacks and throwing elbows but he's also ok with other people doing the same thing back. Considering Cooper & Azira offered nothing defensively and the woeful, slow, dumb Anibaba was covering his inside flank, Yedlin was as good as anyone could be in the first half vs Nagbe. Full disclosure: I am a full on Sounders fan and biased.

That was the best game national team fans could've wished for. Clint bossed it, but Yedlin! Didn't matter who they threw at him. He ran Nagbe off the park, who never gets run off the park, he ran Zemanski off the park who had fresh legs 75 minutes into DA's shift, he drew the tying pk and he faced the ball off the line that would've made it 5-2 Portland. Coming out game for him on the biggest stage the regular season has to offer. On the road against the rivals, marking the best, fastest left mf in the league and right after a good game vs our biggest international rival when some guys come back to their clubs a little too pleased with themselves to put in that kind of effort.

Portland very Liverpool today. About 5 great minutes total that led to 4 goals. Seattle figured something out in the second half with this 4-4-2. Gave them width with Yedlin and Neagle on the right. Instant classic. Deuce was dominant. Yedlin was great. Martens cost them 3 points on the road vs a good opponent.

Yedlin gift wrapped it for Martens who blew it AGAIN. National camp gave Yedlin some confidence. He's been great. Dominated Nagbe.
