The only mild surprise is Fab on the right. Dempsey is a forward at this point in his career and has always been more valuable there anyway. Couple of really hard working, two-way midfielders on the wings and if Jones stays home and Bradley plays at the tip of the diamond and acts as the first line of defense, that's a damn good team.

I agree with TT. I don't necessarily agree with Jurgen's roster choices, but I don't have a problem with how he went about selecting it. He's not there to be nice when he cuts people. He's there to win games. I don't give a [expletive] if he's too ruthless or cold in how he makes cuts. Whether or not the roster he selected is the best to do that is up for debate but the whining about who is owed what is bush league (no one here is really doing that, more a comment about the uss media). He was hired to shake things up and he's doing just that. Whether or not hes the right man to have that power is, again, a totally separate conversation and hard to judge.

That kid is a [expletive], and ruined any chance JK has of plausibly denying that this wasn't personal. As a former teenager who liked to troll people and talk [expletive], if someone did my dad dirty and carried himself with the overall aloof bitchness that Landon has seemed to project, I would have totally tweeted that. I guess what I'm saying is that that tweet isn't Klinsmann's fault and if his reasons for leaving Landon off the team aren't entirely professional, that's fine with me. Landon probably deserves it.

Kid didn't just delete the tweet, he deleted his account. Somebody's grounded. Seriously though, try to tell me Jurgen didn't harbor a grudge for Landon's no-show at Bayern. All that does is fuel my theory that LD was one of Brian Strauss's sources. Landon, Boca, DeMerit and Benny.

Also, DeAndre Yedlin is the first MLS Academy homegrown player to make a World Cup. When we win the cup, it will be because of homegrown MLS academy players.
