TBS broadcasting baseball is like the idiot co-worker who insists he (or she) get a fair shot at performing some task that someone else does perfectly capably, despite the fact that everyone knows said co-worker will screw it up beyond comprehension if given a shot. Last year's playoffs were a miasmatic cacophony of technical errors and terrible announcing "talent" (Dick Stockton ftl) and this was after they scheduled last season's All-Star Selection Show to air AFTER a Braves/Marlins game IN MIAMI IN MID-JULY. No way that gets delayed by rain and/or terrible relief pitching, right, TBS? And even better, ESPN decided to screw the waiting around for TBS' incompetence and run the names of the starters, causing TBS to whine to MLB and getting ESPN removed from their on-field coverage of the Game. Terrible all around. The Division Series games weren't great on ESPN, but I don't recall them being this poorly scheduled.
