    Sosa would hit alot of HR in that ballpark vs NL Central pitching, I would think. I doubt anyone signs Sosa at his asking price, though. Here's the breakdown for Sammy's asking price: 10% - potential 2008 production 90% - ego

    So maybe Cuban should nab Ernie Banks to be his official Spokesman/Partner. That would certainly put more prestige on his bid.

    I'm really not worried. Cubs have one of the better starting rotations right now. If somebody told me at the start of this year that our entire starting rotation would sport ERA's under 4 (Marquis is the only exception at 4.03) by the break, I would've been ecstatic.

    If the team was really serious about cutting out that kinda behavior, they would stop selling beer in the bleachers period. Not a popular move, but an effective one i think.

    :lol: I don't know about you guys, but I'm enjoying watching Pie, Fontenot, and Theriot play over our mediocre and overpaid veterans. You seem to be forgetting that our mediocre overpaid veterans can catch the b... nevermind. GO youth movement!
