    Those posters are just jealous and talking crap. I don't blame them. If Rizzo didn't play for our team, I would probably be jealous of him, too. I have to say, as I've read through that thread this season, I've been impressed with how reasonable and level-headed some of their posters seem. I think they're probably more fair to the Cubs than we tend to be to the Cardinals, but that may be because we aren't their real rivals.

    There's also still the outside possibility that Yadi's hand might need to be amputated as a result of the play. That would be a huge outcome.

    I wish the front office had tried harder to field a competitive team, but this is pretty much how I feel. At some point you have to try to enjoy the ride for what it is. I'm certainly not going to resent these losing seasons for years to come.
