Walker, Bynum, and Pierre are the only Cubs position players on the team who have hit into double plays at a below average rate this year. Move Pierre down the lineup and that would change in a hurry. Not necessarily because I was citing a rate stat rather than a counting stat. But Pierre did hit into more DP's at a greater rate than league average last year. Once the weather gets warmer, he'll start showing the Cubs his true GIDP skills. But warmer weather shouldn't affect him because...ahhh, nevermind
