  2. The only one I can recall is that sweet left to first double play.
  3. Hopefully it is a happy day.
  4. Wow, I just looked up the top play archives.... and he did two days in a row. August 12 vs. Padres. 3rd inning bases loaded clement on the hill. Medium depth and he guns out Khalil Greene August 13 vs. Dodgers. 7th inning bases loaded Merker on the hill. Medium depth and he guns the guy down who knocks Barrett over hard way but he holds on and doesn't punch the guy in the face. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/multimedia/tp_archive.jsp?c_id=chc&ym=200408
  5. Patterson had the nice play last year I believe where he dove and threw someone out at 2nd I think...but I have no idea when they threw someone out at the plate. My guess is that it probably was Patterson...but I can't remember anyone gunning anyone down in the last couple years even. I remember Corey doing it late '04. It was against the Padres, I believe the game went to rain delay with the bases loaded and the Cubs with a 1 run lead or tied. Come back from delay and like the first pitch goes out to center, Corey catches and guns the guy down trying to score. that was when he had like 3 assists in 2 games.
  6. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2520914&campaign=rss&source=ESPNHeadlines pretty interesting
  7. I like the one in my sig better, if I'm understanding correctly he was embarrased that Maddux did something he hasn't so he had to get in on it
  8. Aardsma blew the I-Cubs lead, now tied at 6
  9. PIE-CHART = .264 (i'm clever)
  10. The Marlins have a 15million dollar payroll, the cubs have the ability to go over 100, no sense in trading proven players (esp. Barrett) for maybes.
  11. Demp has been much improved lately.
  12. You don't think Z was just having fun out there?
  13. Final Summer League game I don't really know anything about the summer league. Is there a chance that a good summer league showing would get a guy like Cedric Banks a D-League Contract?
  14. Maybe somebody will spit on him as he is leaving the park.
  15. What part? Boystown is a "neighborhood", kind of like Chinatown but for gay people.
  16. woah, Woodward's got some big ears on him.
  17. A friend of mine brought up a good point about them... how do they know that the contestants are actually gay?
