  1. ok time to justify your playing time Cliff.
  2. Ron "he's a mugician" "a magician" "a musician"
  3. I wouldn't mind that plan actually, but I really doubt that would be even possible with it being a historical landmark.
  4. Maybe he thought that there wasn't much of a future for him here, so he requested his release to look for a more favorable situation. yeah didn't he have some special provisions in his Rule 5 draft fallout, where he could test free agency if returned?
  5. Ok, these is kind of a weird league. It is with a bunch of people that i know from a different message board. I'm not really taking it to seriously. Well a bunch of people wanted in and the guy let 18 people in. So it's 18 teams and with the serpentine draft and me having the first spot so after I take Pujols 34 people get taken then i get 2 picks, then 34 etc. So, I ended up never picking anybody that's a closer. Then I noticed the guy has a ton of scoring categories - GS, IP, W, CG, SHO, SV, H, ER, HR, BB, K, TB, ERA, WHIP, K/BB with spots for 3 SP, 2RP, 2P So instead of closers I have 2 starters with RP eligibility (Wainwright & Nolasco). So am I wrong, or shouldn't my plan work out alright? I forsake Saves, but Ideally I should have no problem always getting GS and IP, with a better shot at getting points for W, CG and SHO.
  6. he's also the guy that immediately went and chewed out Corey after he hit a walk off homer, in a game where he had all of the teams RBIs.
  7. I don't think he's with ESPN anymore.
  8. eyre looks really creepy back there
  9. Hell yes! even though most of the announce teams are unbearable, I wish ESPN would have all day free baseball more often.
  10. Dusty must have e-mailed them some game notes.
  11. Dusty got to say Freddie "Boom Boom" Bynum
  12. Giving up a bomb to Pujols pitchers can live with, giving up a home run to Scott Podsednik they cannot.
  13. Just blew a save for the Astros. Is his run as a dominating closer officially over?
  14. hurry up games, I like to come here after the big Cubs disappoint me.
  15. Now he's talking about seeing guys with there shirts off and being impressed.
  16. haha Dusty rules. "The thing about this kid is he can really hit in the clutch .... ooohhhhhh (Morneau hits a homer run) .... (laughs)."
  17. didn't want to start a new thread, but if anybody wants to laugh/torture themselves Dusty is calling the Twins/Orioles game on ESPN2 right now.
