I'm not criticizing Hendry by any means but I thought it was hilarious what the first thing Hendry said about Fukudome was after that he was now a Cub: come on man, this is the guy NSBB wanted from so far as a couple of years ago, let the man be.

Saw my first soccer game in its entirety last night, live no less. Went up to Loyola to see UIC beat UW - Milwaukee in the Horizon League semi-finals. Soccer fans in the Chicago area should really check out UIC, they have a real good program going (were ranked in the top 10 last year in the nation), and some people think this is actually a better team. Insane defense with non being seniors either. I think UWM only had 1 or 2 legitimate shots to score. We only have a few fans that come out, but they make it a fun time. Though if the Milwaukee fans were on there toes they really could have thrown the "Madison rejects" chant right back at them. Horizon League finals on Sunday at 1:30 at Loyola - UIC vs. UW Green Bay.
